10 Days Of Halloween...... Day 10 Happy Halloween!!!!

Happy Halloween Everybody!!!! Today is the spookiest day of the year and I wanted to do something special( Pat talked me into putting up my Zombie post early*sigh*).  So I have done some hand painted nails for y'all:) I did Glow in the Dark Polish with black hand painted designs on top! This was a little difficult, but after a little practice I think I got the hang of everything.

I painted Bats, A Pumpkin Face, Spider, Scary Face, and BOO.

I hope y'all have a Happy and Safe Halloween:) Go out and get some CANDY!!!!
Happy Polishing Everyone.

I used 4 good coats of polish so that it looked its best when I turned out the lights. Oh did I mention my hubby loves this glow in the dark polish;)

Looks really cool in the light....kinda like the moon:)

AWESOME!!!!!!  I feel like a kid again when I put this polish on, like I'm about to go out Trick or Treating:) Oh yeah my son LOVES this polish!

oh Caitlin!

Caitlin, Caitlin where oh where have you been (besides in my sister's stash!) I am over visiting Anne's polish >.> stash <.< . I was looking for a color for an idea that I had running in my head! Looked around for a minute and picked up Zoya's Caitlin! I knew Caitlin was it! First I put on my Reinforcement Labels for my tips! Second I painted the tips (2 thin coats...and looks like it could use a third). Caitlin is described as a Smoky purple-tinged medium gray.

This is the color of Caitlin!
Flash for sure makes her a little to bright....but I had to show you anyway because she is a beauty!

Again natural Caitlin...After I was done with step 2 I took the stickers off so I could clean up the lines a bit! Step 3 I re-did the reinforcement stickers so I could stamp over my tips with BM13 web design in KleanColor Metallic Fuschia. This turned out exactly as I saw it in my head!

Then I took it another step with the spider and looking back I think I should have gone with a different color spider but I thought this would look good!

And of course I added a spider on my thumb but he looks fine there...maybe because on my ring finger he looks HUGE! I'm not sure...but I like him on my thumb!
For my last step I should have listened to myself with ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Patricia! BUT nope I didn't and went ahead and put on a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust...but it truly covers up the web design and just doesn't give this manicure any points.

I loved this manicure before Fairy Dust was put on it! It came out exactly as I wanted it to! It really does shock me to say this but Fairy Dust didn't improve this...it hurt it...maybe if I had done a base coat of Fairy Dust then started the French tip so FD was in the background it might have worked better!...C'est La Vie!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed this and all the other Halloween posts and are inspired for a Halloween party, Handing out candy, going to work or whatever you happen to have planned!

Take a look back with me!
Day 6 Black (Betty) Cat

10 Days of Halloween..... Day 8

This is another super easy mani for  Halloween. I used 3 coats of  Color Club Tangerine Scream( I love that name) and China Glaze Black Mesh Crackle.

Nothing beats orange and black for Halloween:) And I think that a glow polish would be awesome on top of the orange.

OH Yeah!!! Happy Halloween everybody:)

Fortune Ick Mummy...All together for a post!

So today I have 3 colors to show you all from China Glaze! Mummy May I, Ick-A-Bod-Y, and Fortune Teller...just some swatches but I just had to show off the awesomeness of these polishes to ya! Let's get ready for some pictures!

China Glaze Fortune Teller (three thin coats) is black based with orange glitter (in small and larger hex glitter!)... I picked this one up last year and used it over and over again! I even found an extra bottle this year for a back up because I'm going to need a backup!

China Glaze Ick-A-Bod-Y is a brownish base color and orange glitter (three thin coats).  The orange glitter just explodes and takes center stage!

Mummy May I? Yes you may! I loved this color last year and couldn't find it! I got it this year and had to show her off!  She has a dark base and pink/magenta glitter! Three thin Coats and I was ready for some fun!

I think China Glaze has a way with glitter! I just love all 3 so much I'm having a hard time deciding on what to wear for Halloween this year! So many wonderful choices this year!

What's going to be on your nails this Halloween?

10 Days of Halloween..... Day 7

Hey everybody today is the 7th day in my 10 Days of Halloween and I am loving this mani:)
I call it Vampire Nails... and I know I have some Twilight Fans out the so you can also use this for opening night ( cause I know my twi-hards will be there) of Breaking Dawn:) This is a sponge mani, I used OPI's Base Coat, OPI's Color so Hot it Berns, a mini OPI that I don't have the name to and  Wet n Wild Black Pearl. Here is a picture of the finished mani.

Now if you y'all want to use this for Breaking Dawn add a little sparkle to your nails with a top coat like Northern Lights. This will give you that Vampire out in daylight look:) Here is a picture of the polishes I used.

Love all these colors together:) You can change it up and do a reverse mani and start at your nail beds with black and fade out to red... cute maybe I will try this later.
Happy Polishing everyone, I hope that you are not having any tricks pulled on you and that sweet treats are coming your way:)

The Cat's meow!

Hiya! Today is a quickie.... I have  China Glaze Cross Iron 360 (3 thin coats pictures taken inside...first and third picture with flash second picture no flash)

I took this baby out for a spin the other day and I thought I needed a little Holiday MEOW! to it! So I took out my KleanColor Metallic's (they stamp so awesome!)...picked up Metallic black and Green...picked out my stamps and went to work! (stamps M57 and BM13) Now I wanted something a little different and in real life the spider from BM13 showed up great but went to take pictures (btw it's the green shimmery stuff you see on the nails is the spider) it just didn't turn out right.

I like the Meow this manicure has and to me. It had just enough meow you could wear it with your cat costume this year or even just cat ears!

And I know everyone is checking out our Halloween Manicures! Just in case you missed it here ya go:

I hope everyone had a lovely day...See ya again tomorrow!

10 Days of Halloween.... Day 6

We are more than half way to the day that everyone loves to dress up for... Halloween! Today's mani is a black polish, Wet n Wild  Black Pearl paired with Piggy Polish Sunshine Highway I also used a super cute black cat sticker.  Here is everything I used.

As you can see there are 5 different cat stickers you can use on your nails. The idea that I had in my head was a black cat out on Halloween night with the full moon behind her. This is another mani that you can use glow polish on, but I didn't. Here is a picture of the finished mani.

Okay I know I've been using stickers on a lot of my mani's but damn they were super cute this year! And with this mani you can change it up and do all yellow with cats , every other one with cats... I could go on and on:)
Have a great 6th day of Halloween everybody and Happy Polishing!!!

What I have on my toes!

Hello Again...I was thinking the other day I'm always doing post for what I am wearing on my toes at the moment! I want to start doing regular post about it...So today is What I have on my toes time! Today I have for you China Glaze It's Alive (3 thin coats...or as thin as I could get it with glitter) which is a green base with tiny green glitter and larger green glitter! I love this color so much when I picked it up at Sally's I knew I had to put it on my toes! I did have some bald spots on my nails (as you can see in the pictures) but I think that is because I wasn't waiting long enough between coats...(my toes have 2 coats and no balding). Here are the pictures!

China Glaze has done it again this Halloween I am really enjoying It's Alive! and I don't think I want to take it off! It's Alive just shines in the sun! The glitter decided to eat up my first top coat so this has 2!!! coats of top coat on it.

What do you think are you a green fan?

I hope you are enjoying the 10 days of Halloween Anne is bringing you guys...check them out if you have missed any!

Happy day 5 of Halloween everybody. I know some of you are starting to panic trying to think of a mani to do for Halloween... look no further! Today's mani is super easy and looks awesome when the lights go out! I used 2 coats of Wet n Wild Black Pearl with some super cute Girlie Nail stickers I picked up at Five Below:) Here is a picture of the polish.

That's right Glow in the Dark!!!!!! This turned out so great that even my son wanted me to paint his nails:)  Here is a picture of the finished mani.

Super cute stickers:) And here is a shot to show how they GLOW:)

LOVE:) Have a great 5th day of Halloween everybody:)
