Cult Nails Let Me Fly

Hi ^_^ today I have for you Cult Nails Let Me Fly! Let Me Fly is a beautiful dusty turquoise with silver shimmer. Really an amazing color I just fell in love with it the first time I put it on!

I thought I would top this with Matte-ly In Love by Hard Candy to try it out..I didn't know I could fall in love with this polish any more it goes from summer to fall really easy with just a top coat of a matte polish!  Of course I wore this during the summer with a matte top coat so it works anytime of year!

What do you think? Is Matte a fall thing or would you wear it any time during the year?

Nail Art Wednesday.....Argyle Nails

Hey everybody:)  I have to say I'm over this summer.... the heat, humidity, and everything else that goes along with summer! It needs to get cool here fast (ha! that's a joke cause it takes forever to change seasons here in Ga) cause I'm ready for Fall! We have the football season coming up, so with that in mind I chose to do Argyle nails for today's post. These were fairly simple nails to do... not to much time, a little tape and a steady hand is all you need for these Argyle Nails:)
Here are the pictures:)

So are y'all ready for fall or what??? What do you think of the "Argyle" look? I think I really like this and am now ready for some football!!!!! GO DAWGS!!!

Cult Nails Captivated

Hi y'all! Today I have Cult Nails Captivated over white..I really wanted the coral tinted base to have it's day to shine with all of the Orange and Gold Glitter. This one I wore by it self no stamping! I really don't have a love with glitter I'm just not drawn to it but Captivated had me!

I really liked at the gold and orange glitter it is just a little sun burst on my nails!

Are you a glitter fan? What is a Glitter polish you would recommend?

Cult Nails Iconic

Hi everyone! Today I have for you my first Cult Nail polish (I have two more I will show you this week). I have actually worn these a few times and meant to blog about them but my portable hard drive decided to die and I lost so many pictures I had taken...anyway back to this beauty! Cult Nails Iconic (two coats) is a berry red that has gold shimmer and flakies...oh yea this one is a winner!

I decided that this need a stamp and I know in the picture the white really pops out at you in the pictures but in real life it was a nice finishing touch!

I think if I had to pick out a few polishes for a trip this would be one of them! Went on smooth no problems what so ever!

Do you have any Cult Nails polishes?
What is your favorite polish to wear on a vacation?

Floam tip

Hi all today I have for you FLOAM tips :) I got floam from a contest I won. I actually thought I wouldn't like it but boy was I wrong! I have worn floam by it self but it was a tad thick so I decided to change it today I put on KleanColor Metallic Green (one coat). I then did a gradient with floam I really liked how this turned out!

I really like how KC Metallic Green gives floam a nice it blends with floam instead of having to pack it on so it has full coverage.

Do you own something like floam that reminds you of a childhood toy that you just loved?

Nail Art Wednesday: Dots

Hi everyone! Today's Nail Art Wednesday is brought to you by Kat over at The Kracked Kat. She showed me this picture from this blog and told me to get to it. ^_^ So I said what the hay I can do this but I told her "you have to do one also!" Joint adventure accepted we both got to work and here is what I came up with! My first picture is taken on a cloudy day where we where about to have rain (a whole afternoon of rain little did I know). So I couldn't capture the manicure like I wanted because it was very dark out. Here it is!

The colors I used above are O.P.I.- Fly, China Glaze- In the Lime Light, Flying Dragon, Flip Flop Fantasy, Pool Party.

So I figured I'd wear this for a bit and take pictures the next day! Boy was I wrong came in and BAM banged my new manicure with the door and messed it up! But I figured I had a few good pictures >.< nope but I do have that one to show you!

So I Started over another day doing the same manicure but with a brighter purple so it would pop more...and on accident I grabbed another blue (they are right next to each other in my melmer so I just picked up one)

The colors I used in this one are O.P.I.- Suzi Says Feng Shui, Finger Paints- Pop Art Purple, China Glaze- In the Lime Light, Flip Flop Fantasy, Pool Party.

I really love how each color just pops over the black!

Now Here is Kat's isn't it lovely! I told her that I will be copying this in the future...I hope you will check out Kat's post!

I love both looks so much! I need to get some more use out of my neon's before fall starts.
Are you still rocking summer colors or are you ready for fall colors?

Hi everyone...Ready for this? This is Hits Zeus. I started with one coat of black and then put Zeus on top of it. I couldn't fully capture Zeus outside (first picture) so I did take one inside with a flash (second picture).

I truly wear any color I want at any time of the year...granted I do like bright colors more in the Summer and darker colors in the Winter but every now and again I get the feeling for something dark for summer...

Do you tend to stick to specific colors for seasons or do you wear what you want?

Take me to the beach! Nail Art Wednesday

Hi everyone today I have for you my play day! I was coming up with a fade to wear and I have been practicing my nail a day at the beach...

So first up is the one I liked the most except for the white. I still have a heavy hand when it comes to some stuff and it just doesn't work but the white is supposed to be light fluffy clouds..and if you look close to my ring finger (second from the right) you will see I added a sail boat ^_^

So after the clouds didn't work I tried out another way starting with blue and ending with orange I like how this turned out because to me this was more of a sun coming up instead of going down ^_^

I have to say the fade is pretty easy to do the first manicure I did I had only 3 colors plus black and white...the second manicure I had 4 colors plus black and white. Some practice has gone into me painting with a striping brush. I did have fun making these I always love to see an idea come together!
What is your favorite summer manicure? What are you wearing the most of neon, or bright colors?

Zoya Diva Collection

Hi all today I have for you Zoya's Diva collection! So many pretties to show you I think everyone will be able to find a favorite! Let's get started

Daul (2 coats) is violet with metallic "sparkle"...Daul has a way of shifting from violet to the sparkle color which is a rustic gold to me. Very beautiful !

Elisa (2 coats) is a crimson red metallic...when I saw this I knew I had a few "red polish lover friends" out there and I described this as old Hollywood glam with spunk!

FeiFei (2 coats) is a blue foil with metallic "sparkle"...just like Daul FeiFei tends to shift in certain lights but FeiFei has a few different colors of glitter or "sparkle" in the base.

Ray (2 coats) is pine green. Lovely color I have a few dark greens in my collection made by Zoya and I think this one is probably in my top 5 of how easily it applied and how pretty it is!

Song (one coat) is an Egyptian blue with metallic "subtle sparkle". Ladies I have to say I saw this blue and even in low lighting it stood out!

Suri (2 coats) is a royal purple metallic! Purple has been my favorite color since I can remember (before starting school) so I have a thing with purple polishes and this one doesn't disappoint in any area it's full of shine, and color and it's simply beautiful!

I love the Diva Collection I don't know how many times I can say it or how many ways! The colors are bright (but not to bright for fall) and funky. I can't wait to wear these again!
What do you think? Do you have a favorite of Zoya's fall collections?

Here are links to Zoya's WebsiteFacebook, and Twitter.

Nail Art Wednesday......Taped Up

Hey everybody:) Today I have a super easy nail art tape mani for y'all. First off I have to share this with you... I won a Milani summer gift set that was worth $800, okay take a second to digest that...... that's right think all the pretty nail polish and tons more. I will put up a picture at the end of this post:)

On with today's mani:) I went out with my kids the other day and put on a quick coat of Milani Violet Dash, this polish is a one coat polish that is super pretty ♥ . As I was out running around like my head was cut off, I looked down at my mani and thought this needs a little something. So when I got home I looked through the new polishes I had and didn't really see the color I wanted :( But I have a small box on my work desk of polish that haven't been swatched guessed it I found the perfect match, Pop Beauty 63 Mint Magic. These two polishes together are just beautiful ♥.

So here is what I did.....   On all my nails except the ring finger I put on a base of Mint Magic. Let that dry and just to be sure everything would be dry I added a top coat of Seche Vite. Then dug in my drawers and found my nail tape, if you don't have any go to ebay and find some its super cheap. I taped a cross on the top left of my nail and the painted over it with Milani Violet Dash (did the opposite on the ring finger). Super Easy Right!!!! Top coat and you are done:)
Here are the pictures:)

What do y'all think???? I love it and just think its a great combo:) And as I promised here is the picture of the Milani prize I won ( sorry its not the best), it took up most of my table, I had to stand on a chair!

Happy Polishing Everyone!
