It's cold here feels more like winter than the fall I'm use to but I'm happy with this fall manicure!  Have a great day everyone!!!

Annual 4th of July Water Marble

Hey everybody! I'm so ready to celebrate the 4th of July and this mani screams I love the Red, White and Blue! This idea came to me a while back, I want to try to water marble stars.... and make it look awesome! Well after trying almost all my reds, blues and whites together (that was a whole day of trying colors) I finally came up with all China Glaze polish. These three Red Satin, Scandalous Shenanigans, and White on White were a home run.
I started off with a white base as usual and then W.M. in order red, white and blue- now the thing that was different about this W.M. is that I pulled out with my tooth pick and NOT in! I pulled out in the shape of a star then I pulled in- pulling in at each middle part in between each point in the star. I added a few dots with Essie No Place Like Chrome. And this is the end result, Happy 4th of July!

I just want to say a BIG Thank You to all the men and women who have fought and are still fighting for our freedom, without you we would not have a 4th to celebrate---Thank you!
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of this mani and what you are doing this holiday!

Happy Polishing Everybody!
Love,
~Anne~

Santa will you bring me snow?

Hi all..I really love snow through the winter holiday's. I remember when I was a kid cutting up coffee filters and decided to do different snow art on my nails. I started with my base of Essie Barefoot in Blue. I then took a white and used a super thin nail art brush and made lines or for my thumb and index finger I used a dotting tool. I then used my dotting tool to add Hits Hefesto dots around the snow flake to act like the sun catching different angles of snow. ^_^

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

13 Days of Halloween.... Day 6 Bloody Nails

Hey everybody:) Welcome to day 6 of our 13 days of Halloween! Today I have for y'all a look that I've seen everywhere this season and wanted to share my version of "The Bloody Nails".  This mani is great for those people dressing up for Halloween as something that might have gotten their "claws" into something;) I started off with a base coat of a natural polish and then used a dark red to drop the blood down. Now you're asking your self how to do the blood drops, well its easy. All I did was take the tip of the brush along the top of my nail and let the polish drip down, some of them needed a little help so I used a tooth pick to help draw the polish down. Here are my pictures:)

What do y'all think of these "Bloody Nails"?? I love the look but might try it with natural nails (no base coat) next time.

Happy Polishing Everybody!
Love,
~Anne~

Teal Tuesday!

Hi everyone it's Teal Tuesday again and I wanted to show off a special polish. This is Diamond Cosmetics Don't Teal My Heart Away..it's special because a friend gave me this last year the kindness of that friend lasts and lasts! So this is Two coast of D.T.M.H.A. very beautiful I almost got away with one but wanted to make sure...so two it was!

So I always like to bling up cremes...I added Essie's Good as Gold that another friend recommended to me for stamping because I didn't have a gold. I used Bundle Monster plate 315 which didn't transfer because of an oopsie I don't usually have..I had the fan on v_v oh well I kinda like it not all there ^_^.
Now I like shiny stuff but I'm really digging the Matte right now so I decided to put Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love on top of this! Turns out I love it!!

Well I hope you liked today's post..
Right now I'm wearing Don't Teal My Heart Away on my toes also (with a little holo glitter)...I don't usually match my toes with my nails but this! This was worth it...you can wear a color so many ways really...so just for kicks what's on your toes right now?

Nail Art Wednesday.....Argyle Nails

Hey everybody:)  I have to say I'm over this summer.... the heat, humidity, and everything else that goes along with summer! It needs to get cool here fast (ha! that's a joke cause it takes forever to change seasons here in Ga) cause I'm ready for Fall! We have the football season coming up, so with that in mind I chose to do Argyle nails for today's post. These were fairly simple nails to do... not to much time, a little tape and a steady hand is all you need for these Argyle Nails:)
Here are the pictures:)

So are y'all ready for fall or what??? What do you think of the "Argyle" look? I think I really like this and am now ready for some football!!!!! GO DAWGS!!!

Love,
~Anne~

I had a play day :D

Hello I hope everyone had a good weekend! ^_^ I put on Manglaze Mayo the other day while I had sun I was hoping to try out a few different things out that I had running around in my head...then my sister came over and showed me a thing or two on PicNik and I played around with that...so before you go right to the pictures I couldn't tag everything in the "labels" area so I will list that after the pictures ^_^

Thanks to Jeanie over at Midnight Manicures I got me thinking the other day about some of the posts I have done...and I said why not play around while I have sun!

So I wasn't going to post this but obviously I didn't clean it up that well...that is where most of the playing in picnik was ^_^
With a base of Manglaze Mayo--
On my Index finger I put down tape then with an angled tiny brush I used these polishes- Orly Fabulous Flamingo, FingerPaints Lavender  Highlight  mixed with China Glaze White on White, Zoya Robin mixed with White on White, Zoya Pippa mixed with Color Club I Always Get My Man-Darin.

On my Middle finger- O.P.I. Yoga-ta Get This Blue!, Wet n' Wild Saved by the Blue and Buffy the Violet Slayer, Orly Purple Crush mixed with China glaze White on White, China Glaze White on White mixed with Color Club Tangerine Scream, Color Club Tangerine Scream mixed with I always Get My Man-Darin, Zoya Pippa mixed with China Glaze White on White. *upper part of my nail I used-- Zoya Robin then I mixed some Zoya Robin with China Glaze White on White and layered that on top.*

On my Ring finger- Essie Braziliant (by my cuticle), Super Bossa Nova (on the middle of my nail), Meet Me at Sunset (on the tip of my nail) *after applying (brushing these on and not letting them dry) these I took a square brush dipped in pure acetone and I wiped the brush from my cuticle out.

On my Pinkie finger- Color Club Wicked Sweet, What a Shock!, Volt of Light. After applying these in an L shape with the bottom of the L towards my cuticle with my just the corner towards my other nails having Volt of Light on it after that I put Wet n' Wild Saved by the Blue over everything and then I wiped most of that away with with a square brush dipped in acetone.

When I was done I topped everything with a nice shiny top coat! I love everything I tried out! I showed Anne everything when and she told me that my index finger looks like tie-dye! I agree but I was going for a sun rise. With my middle finger I was going for a sun set. ^_^ For my ring and pinkie I was trying something I saw done with different colors and I really REALLY like the way my ring finger came out! I think I will be trying these again maybe with different colors..

So what new manicure design have you tried lately?

My first Essie's ♥

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't posted in a week but, I have been working on some super cute Valentine's Day mani's that y'all are going to love (but you have to wait a little while longer). So Pat and I went out about two weekends ago in a horrible weather to find polish.... the quest to find polish is always on!!! I found some really great polish at really great prices:) One that was a amazing deal (well at least I think so) is this mini set of Essie polish....The Resort Collection 2011, guess how much I paid.............................go on guess.... I'll wait:)
$9.99 for the set. Now I just thought that was an awesome deal!!!The colors in the set are Lion Around, Fair Game, Da Bush, Your Hut or Mine. These colors are right up my ally:)
So since these are my first Essie polishes I wanted to say ..... The colors are beautiful, they went on with ease and photographed awesome!!! So lets move on to the pictures!!!

First up is Lion Around. This is a pale pink that will go with everything. What a great transitional color for going into spring:)

Next up is Da Bush. This color is a taupe that will just add a hint of color to your nails, for those days that you don't want to much color.

Alright now we have Your Hut or Mine... I just love that name:) This is a bright mauve that really reminds me of roses. Beautiful color that will brighten up those cold winter days that we still have left.

Last but not least we have Fair Game. this is a great steal color that just kinda reminds me of dark snow clouds. I can't wait to try this one with some stamping on top:)

I hope that y'all love these as much as I did ♥ I'm defiantly going to try Essie some more:) Can y'all think of any colors that I might need???? Is there a polish out there that you have seen and haven't got yet????
Happy Polishing Everyone!!
Love,
~Anne~
