Neon Flowers!

Hi all! I purchased China Glaze Point Me to The Party a while back (I actually got the whole collection because I loved them all). I needed Point me to the Party because it was almost a knock off of an Indy polish I've been wanting but never bought. So today I finally wore it!!! No disappointment at all. I decided I needed an accent nail so I decided to stamp with Salon Perfect's Oh Snap!, Copacabana Girl, Mer-Made of Money and Purple Pop! They worked amazingly and I was a little surprised.

The second picture is in the shade so you can see how much the Salon Perfect's polishes POP!
Thanks for taking the time to check out our blog! Have a great day!!

A little this a little that!

Hi all so today's post I started out with a gradient of Purple Pop and Mer-Made of Money from Salon Perfect. It didn't blend the way I wanted so I did a bit of experimenting with stamping to see if these would stamp. They did perfectly!!! I used BM 319 stamping plate -the little lines...going over the manicure many times with each color (purple pop and mer-made of money) to get this look then I stamped a heart on using Salon Perfect Oh Snap! and an Essance plate I bought at Ulta (no number on the plate).

In real life the heart (oh snap!) is so much brighter and it surprised me how bright it came out! I think I need to keep these in mind when I need a bit of neon stamping!
Thanks for check out our blog. Have a lovely day!

Let Freedom Ring!

A quick Fourth of July mani for you today. I started off with Salon Perfect's Indigo-go as my base then I used on my pinkie and index fingers LLC-A plate stamped with Konad white. On my ring and middle finger I decided to do a gradient of Salsa Dance, Sugar Cube and Indigo-go all from Salon Perfect!

I hope you have a great day and thank you for stopping by our blog.

Salon Perfect brings the Glitter for the Fourth of July!

Hi all I'm back with Salon Perfect glitters that are perfect for the 4th of July (that were sent to me for review). I have six glitters all ranging in easy to apply and hard to get out of the bottle. First off NONE of these are shown with a top coat. I used Indigo-Go (index), Salsa Dance (middle), Sugar Cube (ring), and Titanium (pinkie) from my previous post on Monday. Let's get started!

Boom Boom Boom is a micro glitter in red, white and blue. The blue glitter isn't navy so it shows up really nicely on Indigo-Go. The other colors like the red and white glitter seem to blend into and they are completely lost on the red and white polish.

Let Freedom Bling is a strips of glitter (or hairy glitter) in silver, white, red and blue. I think this is best showed over white. It's not bad for a hairy glitter to me. Not bad application I blotted it on when I applied it and moved it around a bit.

Liberty Bubbles are circle glitter in different sizes and a nice lighter blue that pops with the white and red. I did have trouble getting this one out of the bottle so I tried sponging it on with little to no change in application. I think when I use this again I'll 1. store it upside down and 2. try to fish out pieces of glitter.

Pa-Tri-Otic is a triangle glitter in red, white and light blue. I really don't care for this except on the index finger where Indigo-go make all the colors just stand out. Application wasn't bad I blotted what I fished out trying not to get to much of the clear coat on the brush so I didn't have a super long drying time.

Rockets Red Glare is by far my favorite of red and blue glitter. Looking best on Sugar Cube to me. It applied so easily. I just arranged a few of the glitters around on my cuticle area and tip of my nail.

Speck-Tacular is a small red, white and light blue glitter. I enjoyed this one over Indigo-go the most! Easy application and again I just moved a few of the glitters around.

Some hit's some misses. All in all you have a great variety to pick from for your Fourth of July mani!
You can find these colors at your local Walmart right now. You can find Salon Perfect's web page here, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram.

Celebrate the 4th with Salon Perfect!

Hi all today I have for you four polishes that Salon Perfect sent me for review. These are perfect for the Fourth of July! I'll have the top coats up later this week so keep an eye out for those. So for now let's get started on these! I'm showing all of these with Crystal Clear top coat on. Crystal Clear dries in three to five minutes and is quickly becoming one of my favorite top coats!

Indigo-go is a beautiful Navy Blue. This is two coats of Indigo-go. I really like Indigo-go, a perfect blue for the fourth of July.

Salsa Dance is a tomato red. This is two coats of Salsa Dance. I liked Salsa Dance until I had to take it off I had a bit of staining around my cuticle area and my finger. A beautiful color though!

Sugar Cube is a white. Sugar Cube went on in two coats. Sugar Cube is a blanket of snow to me. A blank canvas ready to be painted on.

Titanium is a frosty silver. This is three coats of Titanium. I loved the look of Titanium in the bottle and wanted to love it. I like silver...just not a frosty silver that takes three coats. This was a bit watery and just didn't make me happy when I applied it.

You can find these colors at your local Walmart right now. You can find Salon Perfect's web page here, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram.
These are perfect colors to start your Fourth of July mani's with! I hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a great day.

Just a neon kind of day!

Hi all today's post is a quick one...I am wearing right now a sponged/gradient manicure. I used three wonderful neon polishes from Salon Perfect. I used Oh Snap!, Mer-Made of Money and Purple Pop! I stamped with a white polish and used Bundle Monster Plate BM 404. My base color was a white from Salon Perfect called Sugar Cube which is a great white and really made the neon colors pop!

I really liked how this turned out! I think I'll be doing more gradients in the future! Have a great day!

Hi all today is Sister Saturday for Anne and I over on Instagram. You can find Anne HERE and me HERE. Here is my look for today...I just wanted to add a bit of stamping to it! I really love how this turned out.

So this week was a Radial Gradient. I used Zoya Ali, Pippa, and Robyn.

I then took my new stamping plate from Born Pretty (plate BP-52) and stamped my nails (using Salon Perfect Sugar Cube).

I'm really happy with the way this turned out! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Neon Pop from Salon Perfect

Hi all today I have for you Salon Perfect's Neon Pop! (sent to me for review). These five colors are only here for a limited time and are available now at your local Walmart.  Anne reviewed the core line of Salon Perfect's Neon Pop last year you can check those out here and here.
With neon polishes I usually wear a white base so the polish pops more as you will see most of these with the exception of one looks almost if not the same with out white as an undie.  In all the pictures I used the white base on my RING finger only. I also used Salon Perfect's crystal clear top coat in all of these swatches...A really good top coat in my opinion dries quick and gives a nice shine! Let's take a look at these neon polishes!

Copacabana Girl is a nice coral neon that has a purple shimmer. I used two coats on my ring finger and three on the rest of my fingers.

Mer-Made Of Money is a creamy bright teal that went on in three coats to cover completely and two coats over white.

Oh Snap! is a very neon rose pink that went on in three coats for full coverage and two coats over white. You can tell a slight difference on my ring finger in the picture but in real life I couldn't see one.

Purple Pop! is a bright purple that went on in three coats for full coverage and two over white.

Wrapped Around My Pink-y is a neon pink jelly. This is the one that looks different with the white (which is two coats over white and three on it's own).  Such a nice summer color!

So if you decide to use these over white or by themselves they all had good applications. Good dry time like with all neon polishes they usually dry quick. I think they are perfect for summer and so is the core line of neon polishes from Salon Perfect! You have one shimmer, three creams and one jelly so a little bit of everything.
You can find these now at a Walmart near you! You can also find Salon Perfect's web page here, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

I hope everyone has a nice day and I leave you with a Group Shot!

Pretty Flowers

Hi all today I'm wearing Mint Julep from Salon Perfect's Sugary Sweet Collection and I decided to do a little free hand nail art. A simple and cute manicure.

I started off with some grass made with Salon Perfect Loopy Green and Escape Neverland I also mixed those two together to make another shade of grass to make it all blend.

Next I added some dots with Salon Perfect Put a Ring On It and Lilacking Control.

A simple and bright manicure that didn't take to long and is a mix of bright and pastel!
I hope you have a great day!

Something Sugary Sweet for Spring from Salon Perfect

Hi all I have for you today Salon Perfect's Sugary Sweet Collection (that I was sent for review). Pastel's with a kick! Some of these are bright which I don't usually associate with pastels. I had a few that are on the thin side (almost watery) and a few just right so let's get started. None of these have a top coat on them.

First up is Cold as Ice. Cold as Ice is a pretty pastel blue/baby blue that went on a little thin in three coats. I thought I could actually get away with two coats with this one but to be on the safe side three was the way to go for me.

Next up is Georgia Peach oh yea! How could I not love a polish called Georgia Peach?  This is one of the polishes that was brighter then I expected a pastel color to be. Georgia Peach is a bright and fun peach polish that went on in two coats. I think this would also be GREAT for summer!

Lilacking Control is a lilac pastel that went on similar to Cold as Ice in three thin coats. Such a beautiful purple that is great for Spring.

Mellow Yellow is a great bright pastel yellow that just POPS. Bright and vibrant usually don't go hand and hand with pastels but this one fits the bill! This is two coats of Mellow Yellow.

Mint Julep is a pastel green that went on in two coats of polish. It's a nice color for a spring day!

Put a Ring on It is another pastel that pops. A perfect bright pastel pink that went on in three thin coats. Another perfect color for Spring or Summer to me!

So some are on the thinner side to me...some are just perfect. I just think they all fit perfectly for Spring! Salon Perfect did a great job on making the perfect color for my home state! Really love the bright pastels! Really like the pastels. Just all around a good collection! You can find Salon Perfect at your local Walmart!
Now I have to tell you I did do a water marble with a few of these colors after I was done swatching these colors but they didn't turn up well when I looked at the photos. So if you are looking for colors to water marble with these would work great!
Have a great day everyone!
