Easter Nail Art

Hey everybody:) Today I wanted to share some of my Easter nail art with y'all.

The first one up is one from last year that I just never had a chance to post. I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz and a regular white I had around.

as you can see it smeared a little :(

The next one up is a bunny :) I'm loving this bunny accent nail! I used Color Club Flamingo, which is perfect for spring!

Last but not least is a easy tape mani of a cross. I used Orly Blue Collar (I just picked this up and I love this color). I love this look as a assent nail or doing all of them ♥

I hope y'all enjoy these looks as much as I had coming up with them:) Please have a Happy Easter and remember what Easter is all about! Leave me a comment and tell me if you are going to try any of these looks.

Review Color Club Flamingo

Hey everybody:) Today I'm reviewing Color Club's new polish Flamingo. This polish was sent to me for my review, I can't wait to show you the pretty pink!

When I first saw this polish I wasn't blown away in fact I thought it was just another pink, boy was I wrong! Flamingo in the bottle is a pastel pink, but on my nails it really gets a neon touch. I love this color ♥. Its great for spring, and with summer right around the corner (and the beach) this is an awesome addition to any collection.
I had to use two good coats of Flamingo because it goes on a little thin but other than that this is a great polish! Check out this picture!

Oh yeah baby! Love me a great pink! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this polish. And if you want to see more from Color Club check it out HERE.

Review Ruby Wing's Poppy

Hey everybody:) Today I have a review of Ruby Wing's Poppy. I was sent this polish from Ruby Wing to review.
This polish is a beautiful hot pink that changes into a dark mauve in the sun, it also is scented. The polish goes on in almost one coat and the dry time is pretty good. The thing that got me about this polish is the scent, I love a good perfume as much as the next girl but this was a little strong for me.... every time I  moved my hand a got this scent up my nose (not bad just strong).
Okay here are my pictures :)

outside, I turned the bottle so you could see the
color changing in the sunshine

So what do I think of this polish, I love the color but the scent is a little too strong for me. I might try it on my toes and see if the scent still bothers me. Want to see more from Ruby Wing here is the LINK. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think and if you have tried Ruby Wing tell me your thoughts on your polish.

Hey everybody:)  Today I have a new love to show y'all it's Lush Lacquer's Clowning Around ♥ I saw this beauty on Lush Lacquer's FB page and just fell in love with it and had to make it mine! All this neon glitter and the clear base was just too much not to resist, I have see everybody using this polish with a white base coat and it looks amazing but I wanted to try something a little different. I did blue tips and a accent nail with Orly Royal Navy and the applied Clowning Around, I think it really turned out awesome! Here are my pictures:)

Born Pretty Stamping

Hi all today I have for you a review for the m30 stamping plate from Born Pretty Store. Stamping for me is really something I like doing. This is the Stamping plate I received from Born Pretty to review.

As you can see there is a Cat, Dog, Frog, Lady Bug, Monkey, Pig and a Rabbit. I wanted to show you each cute little stamp so I did a manicure for each animal stamped in a different color.

The Cat I used Sally Hansen South Sea Pearl as a base and stamped (from left to right) with KleanColor Metallic Orange, Sapphire, Black and Purple.

The Dog I used Lavender Cloud as my base stamping with (left to right) KleanColor Metallic Mango, Fuschia, Black and Red.

The Frog I have China Glaze White on White as my base with stamping done in (left to right) KleanColor Metallic Orange, Green, Aqua and Fuschia.

The Lady Bug I used China Glaze White on White and stamped with (left to right) KleanColor Metallic Red, Aqua, Pink and Green.

The Monkey I used a base of Revlon Bonsai with stamping done in (left to right) KleanColor Metallic Orange, Black, Mango and Sapphire.

The Pig I used a base of China Glaze Sugar High Stamped with (left to right) Sally Hansen Ruby Diamond, KleanColor Metallic Purple, Fuschia and White.

The Rabbit has a base color of Sally Hansen Mandarin Garnet stamped in (left to right) KleanColor Purple, Aqua, Black and Red.

I really love this kind of nail art. I wanted to show you all of the stamps on the plate so I could get a feel for the whole plate and you could see everything on the nail. My nails aren't to long right now and I wanted to show how well the images fit/showed on the nail. This plate is great I had no problems stamping at all.
Anne and I have a coupon code for The Born Pretty store which is KXL91 You can find the plate HERE

You can find Born Pretty Store on Facebook, Twitter.

Holographic Quick Shot....Infra Red

Hi all today's quick shot is China Glaze's Infra Red. I used a base coat of ridge filler because all of the pictures I was seeing showed ridges very well.

I stamped over this using Color Clubs Miss Bliss.

I have 3 more to show you and to wear ^_^ and I think I might buy one more. I know a lot of people have been disappointed in these and yes I was one of those people until I got a hold of them and put on my nails. As you can see these aren't as blingy as the OMG collection, but they are smooth and Holoy.

What do you think? Are you buying any of the Hologlam Holographic's?

Can't wait till Summer?

Hi all! Today's post is something I was thinking about for awhile. Since we have to wait a little bit for the new Summer Pixie Dust's I wanted to reach in my stash and see what I could come up with. I had a light bulb moment! The Gloss Collection is thin enough to go on top of Godiva so you can still feel the texture and change the color. Now the Matte might be gone but if you really want it I'm sure a thin coat of Matte top coat will remedy that.

This is Zoya's Godiva with one coat of (index finger)Frida, Godiva by it self (middle finger), Katherine (ring finger), and Paloma (pinkie finger). See how you can work it? Think of the possibilities  if you have the Gloss Collection or thin jelly polishes!
Now that I found out I can work with these to switch up the colors and keep the textured look and feel I think I'll be wearing this till spring maybe even into summer!

Ok so as a small bonus I decided to tried water marbling now it's not my best work but you can see that it can be done and you keep the textured feeling!

I really hope if you have the Zoya's Gloss Collection and Zoya Godiva that you give this a shot! If you can't wait till summer (and the new Pixie Dust's!) are you going to give this a shot? If you check Zoya's website right now maybe HERE you can pre-order them.

You can find Zoya on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. You can purchase Zoya from their website.
Also if you ever want to see our swatches of Zoya (or any swatches), Anne and I have a Pinterest board, and we upload our pictures to our Facebook page.

MS awareness mani

Hey everybody! Today I have a MS awareness mani for y'all! This is a disease that affects 2.1 million people, so I wanted to take a day to spread some awareness!

Here is a little info on MS:
Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects women more than men. The disorder is most commonly diagnosed between ages 20 and 40, but can be seen at any age.
MS is caused by damage to the myelin sheath, the protective covering that surrounds nerve cells. When this nerve covering is damaged, nerve signals slow down or stop.
The nerve damage is caused by inflammation. Inflammation occurs when the body's own immune cells attack the nervous system. This can occur along any area of the brain, optic nerve, and spinal cord.
It is unknown what exactly causes this to happen. The most common thought is that a virus or gene defect, or both, are to blame. Environmental factors may play a role.
You are slightly more likely to get this condition if you have a family history of MS or live in an part of the world where MS is more common.

This is my mani for MS awareness :)

My uncle has MS so this is very dear to my heart. If you have to pick a color to wear this week (and I know it's St.Patrick's Day on Sunday) think of orange (maybe accent that green mani with a orange nail!).

St. Patrick's Day Mani

Hey everybody! Today I have a St. Patrick's Day mani for y'all. Just because I don't like green polish too much doesn't mean that I can't rock a great mani! So I started of with Color Club's Wild Cactus, did my tips and then my accent nail. I did a white stripe under the green tips (just for a little more color). Then I took my dotter #2 (big side) and made my four leaf clover. Really super easy mani for St. Patrick's Day and for some of us that aren't to crazy about green, tips are awesome!

A little bit about Color Club's Wild Cactus: It is an emerald green, part of Color Club's new arrivals. You can shop here. I found that this polish came out a little gloppy(meaning: a ton on the applicator, really thick)  but went on smooth and I only had to use one coat.

Here are my pictures!

So what do y'all think of this mani? I going to rock this for St. Patrick's Day so I don't get pinched!
