Happy Easter!

Hey everybody:) This week is Easter and I wanted to do a mani that reflected this holiday. I did a dot-a-cure mani with a bunny :) Super easy and didn't take much time at all. Here is my Easter mani.

I hope you all have a happy and safe Easter. Let me know what you think of this mani or if you are trying out a different Easter mani.

Happy Polishing Everyone!

Love,

oh pretty!

Today I was cleaning out some of my picture folders and found a few that I hadn't posted yet. So I will probably post those for the rest of the week...So today I have Zoya Caitlin, Marley and Stacy in a water marble...

I LOVED how my thumb and middle finger turned out..I liked that Stacy was more prominent.

Are you ready for the up coming holidays? What is your favorite part of the holidays?

Happy Birthday Pat!

Hey everybody! Today is my dear sister Pat's Birthday! Help me wish her a Happy Birthday by leaving a comment below:)

Okay on with the show.... so for today I have a cupcake mani to share with y'all. This mani was very similar to the one I did for my birthday, I just tried this one with some glitter. Really super easy to do all you need are some cheap nail brushes and doters. Here are the pictures...Here are your cupcakes Pat!

Now I already took Pat out to lunch the other day and gave her, her present. She loves what I got her, *cough* maybe she will put a picture of them up later *cough*. Here is a little poem I found for her on her special day:)

A sister is a wondrous soul - a birthday poem

A sister is a wondrous soul
A loving heart
A warming whole -
A common bond
That keeps us close
A friend to all
- the best for most.
My sister is the best there is
As quick as light
And full of fizz
She's always there,
Her love is rife
A friend I'll always have for life

Pat's Spooky Halloween Night!

Now I worked on a little something special... Pat's favorite holiday is Halloween and mine too. So I did a mani just  for Pat ♥
Pat this is your Halloween mani:)

Well that's all I have for now. Happy Birthday again to my dear sweet sister, I love you more than you will ever know!
Happy Polishing Everybody:)

SoFlaJo Swatches and review *Picture Heavy*

Hey everybody:) Today I have some awesome new polishes that my friend Jody is making!!! The name of the company is SOFLAJO , Jody was super nice to send us samples for us to review and swatch:) I have to say these polishes are beautiful. So the two that were sent to us are Guardian of the Lake and PenDragon. First up is Guardian of the Lake, this polish is a iridescent, shimmery, mix of goodness:) I used Zoya Caitlin underneath for a base and left one nail with no Guardian of the Lake and one nail with just Guardian of the Lake ....awesome!!!! Here are the pictures:)

This is from Pat and she used Finger Paints Lavender
Highlights for a base.
Hi Pat here I really loved this combo! I love the little pick-me-up  it gave a regular creme!

Onto PenDragon, This polish is a orange/copper base color with iridescent glitter. So pretty:) Now I wanted to used this polish alone so I had to do about 4 good coats to get the color I wanted....and on me this really showed more sunshine color than anything. Here are the pictures:)

So what do y'all think of these new polishes??? I love them and hopefully I can get some more soon:) So I hope y'all go show Jody some love and check out her polishes at www.SoFlaJo.com .

Happy Polishing Everybody:)
Love,

oh Caitlin!

Caitlin, Caitlin where oh where have you been (besides in my sister's stash!) I am over visiting Anne's polish >.> stash <.< . I was looking for a color for an idea that I had running in my head! Looked around for a minute and picked up Zoya's Caitlin! I knew Caitlin was it! First I put on my Reinforcement Labels for my tips! Second I painted the tips (2 thin coats...and looks like it could use a third). Caitlin is described as a Smoky purple-tinged medium gray.

This is the color of Caitlin!
Flash for sure makes her a little to bright....but I had to show you anyway because she is a beauty!

Again natural Caitlin...After I was done with step 2 I took the stickers off so I could clean up the lines a bit! Step 3 I re-did the reinforcement stickers so I could stamp over my tips with BM13 web design in KleanColor Metallic Fuschia. This turned out exactly as I saw it in my head!

Then I took it another step with the spider and looking back I think I should have gone with a different color spider but I thought this would look good!

And of course I added a spider on my thumb but he looks fine there...maybe because on my ring finger he looks HUGE! I'm not sure...but I like him on my thumb!
For my last step I should have listened to myself with ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Patricia! BUT nope I didn't and went ahead and put on a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust...but it truly covers up the web design and just doesn't give this manicure any points.

I loved this manicure before Fairy Dust was put on it! It came out exactly as I wanted it to! It really does shock me to say this but Fairy Dust didn't improve this...it hurt it...maybe if I had done a base coat of Fairy Dust then started the French tip so FD was in the background it might have worked better!...C'est La Vie!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed this and all the other Halloween posts and are inspired for a Halloween party, Handing out candy, going to work or whatever you happen to have planned!

Take a look back with me!
