The Perfect Red with Stars!

Today I have for you all something a little simple! I really liked this look! I found the stars with my sticker stash in a long strip and decided to cut them up to fit my fingers! My base color is Sally Hansen Cardinal which is such a lovely RED..I believe I told a few of my friends that happen to love red that I probably haven't worn red in a year or more on my finger nails @_@ wow I might have to dig through my stash and see what reds I have to wear!

Simple Manicure but very nice! I really am happy how this turned out!

Are you going for simple or difficult...flashy or subtle for the 4th of July?

Nail Art Wednesday: Flag Manicure

Hey all! This manicure was so much fun to create! I started with a white base then stamped with the Salon Express Stamping Kit S22 (my kit came from Sally's) plate using KleanColor Metallic Blue...I didn't really stamp straight but I did try..(I'm sure I could have made it straight if I was willing to tape up my nail but this worked just fine). AFTER that dried I top coated my nail and let that dry...I actually stepped away because I have been known to ruin a manicure when I thought it was dry and it wasn't...came back taped over the blue stamping part. Then I took some tape and just cut strips and after putting that on my nails I painted over it with KleanColor Metallic Red! I took the tape right off as soon as I was done and let it dry because KleanColor are known to bleed with topcoat.

I'm really happy how this came out! It took a little time but I like it!

Thanks for checking us out again today make sure you check back Thursday , Monday and the 4th for More 4th of July Manicures!

Fail Red White and Blue Splatter

Hey everyone!! This weeks manicures will be Red, White and Blue inspired since it's close to the 4th of July I wanted to show you a few different manicures! The manicure I did today looked better in my head ...I started with a base of FingerPaints Easel Come, Easel Go...I then got my straw and and spat the colors at my nails...I used KleanColor Metallic Blue and Red...and a random white I have. I then covered it with a bit of Sparkle (China Glaze Fairy Dust).

I was hoping for a bit more of something...not sure what but something!
How are you celebrating the 4th of July?

Julep ~Oscar~

Hey everybody:) Today I have another Julep for y'all .... Oscar. This color is just like the awards show....gold and glitter everywhere! Because this polish is glitter I did have to do 3 (maybe 4 coats, can't remember) to get what I wanted. This color would be great for a evening wedding or summer party! Here are the pictures!

Pretty right???? This might be something I play around with and do some layering and stuff with...hmmmm!

Nail Art Wednesday.....Start of Summer

Today is the first day of summer! Let's enjoy it...For today's manicure I used a white base to get my color's to pop a bit more and then I took my pink (Electro Candy) and with a nail art brush I swiped downward towards the tip (stopping at the middle) doing all of my fingers...While my pink was still wet I swiped (with the same brush--but cleaned) from the middle to tip with my orange (Tangerine Scream)..I then repeated the process...this is how it turned out!

I was then thinking of stamping since I haven't done it in awhile and miss it! So I took out my Konad M57 plate..and my KleanColor's in Metallic Pink and Metallic Orange..it seemed to fit at the time...coated half of my plate with pink and half with orange and stamped!

I'm not sure if I like how this turned out with the stamping...but C'est La Vie! I hope everyone enjoys your first day of summer! ^_^
What's on your nails right now?

Ever have that craving?

Hey everyone! Ever have that craving of nail polish and you can't get your hands on it? Then out of the blue your friends (or maybe you see it on a blog) tell you "oh yea there is a dupe for that" @_@ I was happy to hear there was a dupe for China Glaze's Atlantis since I can't find it (and cheaper also)...a friend told me that Sinful Colors had a dupe!!! Here it is Sinful Colors Nail Junkie..I feel like it was missing a bit of sparkle but I found it very pretty...Let's take a look!!!

Very pretty! I have something similar to Nail Junkie (Nicole by O.P.I. "Nicole...Spotted" but it's lighter in the base)
So many dupes so little time <3 Do you have a Favorite dupe because you couldn't find the original?

Nail Art Wednesday....... Hello Kitty and Friends!

Hey everybody:) I have for y'all today Hello Kitty and Friends!!!! Ever since I was little; I'm talking little, I've always loved Hello Kitty ♥. We had a Sanrio store at the mall and every weekend (well almost) we would go, it was just the thing to do.... and my sister and I would stay in the store for an hour or two, mom would always have to come and get us. But anyway the love I have for Hello Kitty and her friends has never went away!
This post is going to look similar to the Black Cat Friday post I did, you can check that out here. I added Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Badtemaru, Pochacco and yes Chococat is still there. I'm so glad I finally got around to doing these for y'all and I just know they are going to bring those great childhood memories back:) Here are the great pictures!

So are you thinking of Hello Kitty memories yet??? This was all done free handed and took a great deal of time... thank goodness I have a pool for the kids to stay busy in!
Let me know what y'all think, which friend is your favorite???

NOTD

Hey guys...so just a quick post for today. I'm wearing O.P.I. I Eat Mainley Lobster is such a pretty color that I just got recently even though it was a last year (fall 2011) release. I thought it was a great summer color the coral with shimmer was AMAZING! Here it is!

I thought this was a bit out of my comfort zone color for me so I decided to kick it up with a favorite Konad M60.

Well I enjoyed wearing this! I really liked the stamp also it reminds me of what nail decals are doing right now  with all kinds of patterns..
Do you have a favorite stamp you might want to see?

Waiting Sucks!

Hi there! So True Blood will be back on tonight! I love this show <3 LOVE! After Seeing this mani by the lovely Harri over at TrailerHood Chic I was inspired to try out something for TB <3 <3 Well here it is I did try to make lips (without a stamp since this is free hand)...but I guess I need more practice because it just wouldn't work for me :(...k So my Thumb is a tomb stone, Index is a finger print "in blood", Middle finger is a interpretation of this poster, Ring finger is obviously blood splatter, and Pinkie is bite marks!

Here it is with a top coat of Matte Polish.

I REALLY Loved how this came out!!! Are you a fan of True Blood? Are you watching tonight?
Enjoy your Sunday ^_^ (btw there are lot of mixing going on with colors so I don't really have a list of colors since they are this and that mixed together sorry about that)

Pop Art on Fire with a Spell!

Hello Everyone today I have for you a layering experiment...I saw something similar on pinterest! A purple with a flakie over it and I fell in love but never did it! Well as I put on Finger Paints Pop Art Purple which is a great neon purple... I thought to myself that I should try it out..so I did! (I know there is a vnl but you couldn't see those irl)

My itty bitty bottle of Fantasy fire is what I grabbed before Elle's Spell so this is what I used... I didn't get as much of the awesome color that the bottle holds but it was lovely!

^ inside picture to show you that it really GLOWS!

And last but not least Elle's Spell over all that for a little bit more something... it was very eye catching without it but I wanted the flakies! I love the combo...Which I will probably wear again soon (but without the FF because it's such a tiny bottle).

What is your favorite layering combo?

China Glaze Summer Water-marble!

So yesterday I showed you the new China Glaze summer collection and today I have them water-marbled! Two different water-marbles because as much as I liked the first one and I did LIKE it a few mess ups kept me from completely loving it! I started off with a base coat of white then decided on the colors I would use the first marble I used a white, Splish Splash and Under the Boardwalk.

Next up I added a color to the batch...White base, colors I used for this one are a white, Splish Splash, Under the boardwalk and Love's a Beach!

Very Summery and bright! The shimmer that was in the polishes really shinned and I wish I would have been able to capture it..I was so happy with how these turned out!  I can't pick a favorite because I like a few of the designs from each mani! Which do you like?^_^ I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
