Baby you're a firework!!!

Hi all last post for today. This what I'm wearing today... Sally Hansen diamond that is a silver holographic. I stamped over diamond with KleanColor metallic blue and red using plate BM-h14.

I really love KleanColor metallics over holographics because the holo shines through and makes the color you use holo also. I'm going to go and enjoy my day with family. Y'all have a wonderful and safe day. ^_^

13 Days of Halloween...Day 13 Bloody Good Time!

Hi all today is the last day of the 13 days of Halloween for us and I wanted to share with you one that can be used two different ways...To start off I used China Glaze's Rainbow, stamped with Astro Hot from Konad M73..then I used China Glaze White on White for tips. Now if you stopped here this could go with a Beauty Queen costume, Debutante costume, Princess costume and so on...(I wanted these to look as fake as possible for it). Second picture I added drips of Sally Hansen's Cardinal and a straw to blow the drips out to make it look like I used my nails to claw at something and things got bloody. This could be used for a Zombie girl, or a murderous beauty queen.... I did want the actual design to show through a bit more but over all I'm happy with how it turned out.

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you have a safe and fun evening.

13 Days of Halloween 2013...Day 4 Dancing Bones

Hi all today I have for you is day four of the thirteen days of Halloween. I used Sally Hansen Loves Me Not as my base which is a lovely purple glitter polish. I stamped first with KleanColor Metallic Green and the line stamp from Bundle Monster's Create Your Own (2013) stamping set. I then used a white for the skeleton stamp also from Create Your Own stamping set. Here it is....

I couldn't fit the whole skeleton on my nails so I figured I would stamp them different ways...I see these as dancing. I hope you like these I was really happy with how they turned out.

Nail Art Wednesday......Sunflowers

Hey everybody:) As I was driving over to visit my mom the other day I saw sunflowers that were taller than me and just super beautiful. Well that really puts me in the mood for Autumn and wishing it would be cooler, can't you just see the leaves on the trees changing and smell the season change. So as soon as I got home I started on this really easy nail art for y'all.
I started off with Sinful colors Cinderella, which was the perfect base and looked like the sky that day:) I took my nail bushes out next along with Milani's nail art Yellow Design for the golden yellow petals on the flower. I did use Sally Hansen Emerald City for the leaves. After letting that dry for a few minutes I dotted Finger Paints Haute Taupe for the middle, well I wanted a darker center so I took my small #1 dotter and Zoya Raven and made a few dots to darken the center of the flower up. Okay here are the pictures :)

So what do y'all think??? I just love sunflowers and the way they follow the sun through out the day....and they really put me in the fall mood:)

Happy Polishing Everyone!

~Anne~

The Perfect Red with Stars!

Today I have for you all something a little simple! I really liked this look! I found the stars with my sticker stash in a long strip and decided to cut them up to fit my fingers! My base color is Sally Hansen Cardinal which is such a lovely RED..I believe I told a few of my friends that happen to love red that I probably haven't worn red in a year or more on my finger nails @_@ wow I might have to dig through my stash and see what reds I have to wear!

Simple Manicure but very nice! I really am happy how this turned out!

Are you going for simple or difficult...flashy or subtle for the 4th of July?

Anne is a sweetheart!

A couple of weeks ago I was in a funk and Anne let me borrow her Hits and Glitter Gal's she reviewed for the llarowe store  I was so happy! So I picked Hits Afrodite to try out first! (Here is Anne's swatch.) This is three thin coats! Afrodite isn't she pretty? She instantly lifted my spirits!

So what did I do after a few day's?  I sponged on some Sally Hansen Nail Prisms in Diamond and Glitter Gal Red 3D Holo (Anne's swatch) and then I put a dried flower on my middle finger top coated it up and was done!
I really enjoyed trying out the Hit's and Glitter Gal polishes! Holographic polishes really do lift my mood when I need it ^_^

Do you have something (make-up, nail polish, jewelry, animals) that lift your mood when you are down?

Sun Burst

OH I love messing around with tape! I started with Sally Hansen Prisms Mandarin Garnet (4 coats this polish is a little thin) which is a PINK with sprinkle of holo I then decided to tape it up and put Sally Hansen Prisms Diamond on top! I really loved when the sun hit this it just shined!

Pinkish in the bottle Orange in pictures I'm a little confused but it's ok I like how it turned out on my nails!
I love playing with nail tape! I have tried out a few manicures with the tape now and I know if I have one coat polish that goes over the base color I can just put the tape down on all of my nails then paint on top...and quickly remove the tape!

I know I have a few more Tape manicures to try! Have you tried a tape manicure?

A diamond in the snow?!

Hello! Recently I found Sally Hansen Prisms Diamond at ROSS! I first wore it to see Breaking Dawn with my sister! The polish just fits for the movie so I had to wear it! It's a beautiful holographic! This is 3 thin coats of Diamond.

I then wanted to try out some nail art.. Snowman time!!! I used Ruby Kisses French White for snow and snowman, KleanColor Metallic Black for the buttons and eyes, KC Metallic Blue-Red-Green-Pink-Purple for scarfs, and Barielle Cashmere or Leave Me for arms...I topped off the snow on the ground (tip of my nail) with Nubar 2010 to make it look like reflective!

I think it turned out really cute and was happy with it!

Are you a snow person? Or would you rather be on a beach sipping a cold beverage?

Zombie Nails....AHHHH!!!!

Okay Pat has talked me into doing a post today about my Zombie Nails. I did want to wait and do this one on Halloween( a part of my 10 days of Halloween)... Lucky y'all!!! This is one of the most awesome mani's I've done in a long time:) Here is a picture of the finished look... hope its not to scary:)

Okay let me just say you should use fake nails... but I chipped a nail so I used my own. First you need to cut some chips out of your (fake) nails. I also took a course nail file and filed away from my nails beds; kinda like buffing ,you want some ridges in your nails. After that if you need to glue your nails on do so now. You need to start with a brown polish... I didn't have a dark brown so I used Sally Hansen Stony Creme mixed with a touch of black. You will sponge your nails all over with the brown, don't worry about it being perfect cause remember it's Zombie Nails!! Let that dry a bit and then you need to take your white polish close to the bed of your nails and make your Lanula(the half moon shaped thing under your nail by the nail bed), remember sponge on and it doesn't have to be perfect. With your brown mix it with black, I used Wet n Wild RIP Black Pearl and again you want to sponge on... this you just want to darken up your nail and not cover everything up.  Take your red polish I used OPI Color So Hot It Berns and sponge on to make a blood effect. Here is a picture of just the nails painted:)

So after all the polish and you getting the Zombie effect just the way you want it now you can play with the Halloween makeup. Here is what I used.

With the Halloween makeup start with the brown and sponge all around the nails. Take the red makeup and sponge under your nails so to add to the blood effect. Now your going to need to mix the brown with the black and sponge down your nails  just as far as you'd like to go. The last little touch is to take the Vampire Blood and put this around your nail beds, to give that bleeding undead look. And that's it, I know it sounds like a lot but it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. I hope you've enjoyed this post as much as I did doing this mani for y'all:)

Top this!

Hi Ladies today I wanted to show you 4 different polishes that got brought up last week (I think) in the fb group Polish-aholics Anonymous! How these compare so I have for you (from index to pinkie) Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, China Glaze Wireless Holographic Top Coat, Sinful Colors Green Ocean and China Glaze Fairy Dust. (All pictures show 2 coats of each with NO topcoat, over Wet N' Wild black 1 coat) Before we go to far I'm super sorry for the dry skin I was using pure acetone the day of swatching v_v! SH HT (index) shows red to orange to green like a mini rainbow in flakies.
CG WHTC (middle/ free bird) is super awesome and it looks like I just have a black holo!
SC GO (ring) shows blue on the finger...I have tried this over a green and it still flashes BLUE! I love it ^_^ I won this from Amber at Rainbows & Sparkles last giveaway!
CG FD (pinkie) is a holographic glitter that I love using as a top coat over anything from a french tip, to a fade to pull it together...maybe that is why I have a back up bottle of this I love it so much I don't want to run out lol!

So I LOVE these top coats each for different reasons!

HT-rainbow flakies!

WHTC-puts a nice finish to my holo's without dulling them!

GO- I love blue and it's a flakie!

FD- makes a dull mani into sparkle fest!

Now for the close ups my skin is super dry in these but it shows the colors so well I couldn't leave it out *_* sorry!

Hidden TreasureGreen Ocean

Wireless Holographic Top CoatFairy Dust Last are a few pictures I took inside that I thought I would throw in for free (blurry so you can see the awesomesauce of these polishes (lol)!

So here they are...I also wanted to give you Ladies a chance to leave your blogs address down in the comments today (for this post only please) I enjoy looking and reading nail blogs so much that I will probably take your list and next Post I (me not Anne) put up a list of blogs there if you want (just let me know if it is ok if I share or I wont share it)!

So do any of you ladies own any of these toppers? What do you think of them? Enjoy the rest of this week ladies!
