Happy Hunger Games!!

Hey everybody:) Happy Hunger Games!! I love this book series and am so super excited about Catching Fire coming out today in movie theaters. Unfortunately both of my kiddos are sick and I can't go see it until they feel better, but I wanted to celebrate with everyone going to the movies today! So here is my tribute to the new movie Catching Fire!!

This mani has a lot of layering, here is a quick overview of what I did... I started with a black and red polish for the base, then I added the matte top coat. After that had time to dry (this was a all day thing) I started to hand paint the fire on... red, orange, yellow and last a touch of white. While that dried I painted the mochingjay, not the best work but but you get the point! Hope you have fun at the movie and love this mani as much as I do.
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of this mani and if you are dressing up you mani for Catching Fire.

Happy Polishing Everyone and my the odds be ever in your favor!
Love,
~Anne~

Hibiscus Fowers

Hey everybody:) Today I have some really cute tips I dressed up with a hibiscus flower! They are super cute for summer and pretty easy to do!

I started off with a plain white tip, and then painted the flower. For the flower I used Milani Yellow Wiz and made 5 petals. On top of the yellow I used Orly Passion Fruit and made the same 5 petals, I just made sure that the yellow would peep through. Then I made the center of the flower with the yellow, added leaves and a pink line under the tip ... done! Here are my pictures:)

I love how bright and summery these nails are (since we haven't seen the sun in Ga in like 2 weeks!). So if you are sick of the rain and are looking to brighten up a mani I would defiantly try this look out!
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of the Hibiscus Flowers.

Happy Polishing Everybody!

Nail Wednesday...... Simple Fall Mani

Hey Everybody :) Sorry I've been MIA lately... lots of stuff going on around here. Today I have a super easy Fall mani for y'all. With all the candy corn and leaves turning colors its easy to go straight into your dark polish colors, but what if your not ready for that yet? Well I have, what I like to call " A Updated Candy Corn Mani" for y'all. This mani is super simple and has only 4 easy steps.

Step 1 paint your nails white.
Step 2 with doter # 4 (small end) dot on orange polish.
Step 3 with doter # 3 (small end again) dot on yellow polish.
Step 4 with doter # 1 (small end) dot on black.

And that's as easy as this mani is:) Here are the pictures I took.
