Nail Art Wednesday: Dots

Hi everyone! Today's Nail Art Wednesday is brought to you by Kat over at The Kracked Kat. She showed me this picture from this blog and told me to get to it. ^_^ So I said what the hay I can do this but I told her "you have to do one also!" Joint adventure accepted ...so we both got to work and here is what I came up with! My first picture is taken on a cloudy day where we where about to have rain (a whole afternoon of rain little did I know). So I couldn't capture the manicure like I wanted because it was very dark out. Here it is!

The colors I used above are O.P.I.- Fly, China Glaze- In the Lime Light, Flying Dragon, Flip Flop Fantasy, Pool Party.

So I figured I'd wear this for a bit and take pictures the next day! Boy was I wrong came in and BAM banged my new manicure with the door and messed it up! But I figured I had a few good pictures >.< nope but I do have that one to show you!

So I Started over another day doing the same manicure but with a brighter purple so it would pop more...and on accident I grabbed another blue (they are right next to each other in my melmer so I just picked up one)

The colors I used in this one are O.P.I.- Suzi Says Feng Shui, Finger Paints- Pop Art Purple, China Glaze- In the Lime Light, Flip Flop Fantasy, Pool Party.

I really love how each color just pops over the black!

Now Here is Kat's isn't it lovely! I told her that I will be copying this in the future...I hope you will check out Kat's post!

I love both looks so much! I need to get some more use out of my neon's before fall starts.
Are you still rocking summer colors or are you ready for fall colors?

Apple Butterflies!

Hello everyone ^_^. Today I have Zoya Apple (from the Sunshine Collection).... Apple is so beautiful and sparkly <3 (2 coats). Let's take a look.

I then decided to water-marble with black and clear because I wanted my base color to show through and I know that glitter doesn't water-marble well.

I have been looking searching pinterest for butterfly water marbles. So I decided it looked butterfly-ish enough that I thought it needed dots. I used a toothpick as I already had it out and got out my Layla Mercury Twilight...I love how this turned out!

See how shiny! I love this so much <3
Monday will kick off Holographic week here at Southern Sister Polish so come back and see what we have going on! <3

Let's make it holo!

Today Ladies I had to show of this beauty what is it you ask? It's an old black  (that needed a little thinner) with spectra-flair in it! This is one coat!

Isn't she a beauty?
I love mixing in spectra-flair into mini polishes or older polishes.

I love wearing Holographic polish year-round!
Is there a polish you love wearing no matter the season?

Tiffany

Zoya makes such great colors that I sometimes forget I have others. Now Tiffany is no where near my comfort zone in a color I would wear which coming from me is pretty funny...since I love neon purples and blues! I don't know but when I went for the color I was thinking that I need something that isn't purple, blue...This pink-ish peach color actually had my attention more the then popular Crystal from the same collection (flame). Here are the pictures!
Day 1, 3 coats of Zoya Tiffany. Day 2, I stamped it using Konad special black polish on ip 73 my favorite stamp by the way. Day 3, I added the black tips with wet 'n wild black..I have been seeing this on a few different nail polish blogs and can't say I liked it 100% but after trying it out myself I was sold on the idea! I like it a lot and think this just might be my Valentine manicure..
So what do you think of Tiffany?
Until next time enjoy polishing!

Today was a rainy, wonderful and busy day... in tribute to this day (our first blog day) I did my nails.
This is Wet n Wild in black. I used only one coat and guess what... thats all I needed. Awesome polish!
The next coat was NYX #162 . Again I only used one coat, gives that extra something to the black. ♥
