Neon Rainbow

Hi all today I tried something new...not sponging just using the nail polish brush I painted a rainbow...then covered it with a stamp from my XL-A LeaLacC stamping plate with konad white special polish.

I really liked this and the dots calmed the rainbow down a bit but it still was NEON.

Let me know what you think. How do you wear your neon's?

Tie Dye Nails

Hey everybody! Today I have a great summer mani for y'all ..... Tie Dye Nails!! So do you remember when you where a kid and your mom said lets do something different like tie dye, and you were thinking of those awesome tees they sell at the beach but yours came out like a dirty old shirt? Well that is what happen with me and this mani the first 3 times I tried and then I finally got it right and that is what I have for y'all today!

I started off with a white base polish, took out all of my China Glaze neon's and got to work. I usually work ROYGBIV ( the colors of the rainbow) but started this mani backwards. You have to work not fast but quickly. So from the bottom corner right side I used a dab of Creative Fantasy, around that Splish Splash, Kiwi Cool-ada, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Sun Worshiper, and finally Pool Party. And then with a thin angle nail art brush dipped in acetone I made my lines, I did this very light so that the white would come back through and make the tie dye affect. Here are my Tie Dye Nails!

The night I did these nails we went outside to play a game with the kids and my nails looked like they were glowing in the dark, I love them! My daughter wanted me to do her toes, so much fun!
Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of these Tie Dye nails!

Happy Polishing Everybody!
Love,
~Anne~

China Glaze Summer Water-marble!

So yesterday I showed you the new China Glaze summer collection and today I have them water-marbled! Two different water-marbles because as much as I liked the first one and I did LIKE it a few mess ups kept me from completely loving it! I started off with a base coat of white then decided on the colors I would use the first marble I used a white, Splish Splash and Under the Boardwalk.

Next up I added a color to the batch...White base, colors I used for this one are a white, Splish Splash, Under the boardwalk and Love's a Beach!

Very Summery and bright! The shimmer that was in the polishes really shinned and I wish I would have been able to capture it..I was so happy with how these turned out!  I can't pick a favorite because I like a few of the designs from each mani! Which do you like?^_^ I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Let's Get Ready for Summer with China Glaze

Good Morning Everyone! I have for you today a few polishes from China Glaze's Summer Neon Collection.  In these pictures I put white on my pinkie because I know people love to layer neon's so they show up better..So I'll let you be the judge of how you like it. ^_^ So let's get started.

This is Hang-Ten Toes, it was 3 thin coats with 2 coats over white. Hang-Ten Toes is a beautiful neon pink with purple shimmer.

Love's a Beach is neon pink with pink Shimmer. Love's a Beach is darker than Hang-Ten Toes. This was 3 thin coats also with 2 coats over white.

Splish Splash is a bright blue shimmer (very bright but not neon). This is 2 coats with 2 coats over white.

Under the Boardwalk is a bright raspberry creme (again not neon). This is two coats and two coats over white.

Most of the color's over white polish make them POP or look brighter.. I love you can tell the difference and it's another way to wear the polish.
Hang-Ten Toes-is perfect for my light skin tone. I know I will get a lot of use out of this because I love wearing neon pink during the summer time.
Love's a Beach- is just a tad different from HTT that I feel I can wear these back to back and not feel as if I'm wearing the same color over again! I love both!!!
Splish Splash-is such a wonderful blue I used it on my niece's toes with a stamp of a turtle...very great blue for the water look!
Under the Boardwalk- will be a color I would wear all year. UTB is squishy to even though you might not hear that with a creme polish much...to me it's squishy.

What do you think are you ready for summer?
