Sister Saturday!

Hi all today is Sister Saturday for Anne and I over on Instagram. You can find Anne HERE and me HERE. Here is my look for today...I just wanted to add a bit of stamping to it! I really love how this turned out.

So this week was a Radial Gradient. I used Zoya Ali, Pippa, and Robyn.

I then took my new stamping plate from Born Pretty (plate BP-52) and stamped my nails (using Salon Perfect Sugar Cube).

I'm really happy with the way this turned out! I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Water Marble Week- Day Four

Hey everybody:) Today for day four in our week of water marbles I have an old one that I dug up and just never put it in a post. I think it really reminded me of one I had already did during last summer or the one before.
I thought that everyone needed something bright to look at so here is my Bright Lights Water Marble :)

As y'all can tell I had a tan in these pictures from last summer, I'm kinda pale right now lol. But isn't this just awesome, the way the colors blend and make other colors. I ♥ this mani. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Happy Polishing Everyone!
Love,
~Anne~

13 Days of Halloween....Day 3 Sugar Skulls

Hey everybody:) Today I have a mani inspired by the Mexican holiday "Day of the Dead" and the sugar skulls they use to honor their departed love ones. I started off with a base coat of Zoya Snow White and used Zoya Raven, Robyn and China Glaze Liquid Crystal for the details. Here are the great pictures:)

What do y'all think of the Sugar Skull???

Happy Polishing Everyone!

Nail Art Wednesday- A Fish Tail

Hiya quick post...I tried out Fish Tail mani for a group challenge and oh I really liked it!!!!

My base color is Nicole by O.P.I. Party in the Penthouse...I started the fish tail with FingerPaints Chrysanthe-Mum's The Word (which is the green) and then I switched to Zoya Robyn (the light blue) ...I'm not as steady to get straight lines but I really love how it turned out!

I think I want to try this again with a steadier hand!
What do you think? Have you tried this what color combo did you use?

Hand me that glass slipper!

Hello all! Today I have for you Cinderella...which I really haven't worn (until now) since I picked it up! I like the color but I'm not in love with it. Since I wanted to give it a chance I decided to give it a accent nail to pump up the manicure a little. I wanted to water marble with Cinderella but it wouldn't spread so I decided to give something else a try CLEAR! Yup I water marbled with clear (which I haven't seen done before) so I could see Cinderella through it... since it wouldn't work with me I worked around it! Now for the Clear I tried a base coat and a few top coats till I found that worked for me. I also picked out Zoya Moxie and Robyn because I thought those would rock together! I'm really happy with the way this turned out seeing as it was an experiment! Take a look ^_^

Right Hand accent finger.  As you can see the colors I used in the order of Color 1, Clear, Color 2, Clear--repeat. I feel like I have flower petals on my nails ^_^

I hope Everyone has a great weekend!
Tell me what is something you have tried lately! <3

Bad Ass Water Marble #2 ***Picture Heavy***

Hey everybody:) Today I have another Bad Ass Water Marble for y'all (cause I know y'all love them so much).  So the other day Pat came over for a visit and was trying to get me to try out stamping...by the way I hate doing stamping! I finally got tired of trying everything and said "I want to water marble!!!!"  I showed her some pictures of what I wanted to do, and we put our heads together to figure out how to make it happen. First I tried out every polish I could think of to do what I wanted to do, and finally settled on Zoya polishes:) I started with a base of Zoya Dove and then moved on to water marbling. I used Zoya Ali, Pippa, Dove(again), and Robyn... this is also the order I used them to make my bulls eye. Alright here are my pictures:)

And since I'm such an awesome sister I even did Pat's nails!!! Here are the pictures of what I did on her nails:)

I know y'all can see all kinds of colors I didn't mention in this water marble like green and purple, but the colors I used just bled together. I have to say even my hubby made a comment about how awesome my nails looked:)
So what do y'all think??? Love them or too much work????

Happy Water Marbling Everyone:)
Love,
~Anne~

Robyn doesn't make my day blue!

Last day for Zoya week and I have for you Robyn.  I wanted to go out with this pretty Blue! I feel that you can wear bright colors anytime of year (same with darker colors)! Zoya describes Robyn as a perfect turquoise cream. I took a few pictures so you could see how this looks...(order of pictures are--sun, flash, shade--all taken outside)..This is 3 thin coats of Robyn check her out!

I have been wanting to try out the BM225 stamp for awhile because it's a cover the nail but it's so beautiful  I knew this would match up perfectly! I took out KleanColor Metallic Sapphire to do the stamping since I hadn't tried it out either!
For the life of me I couldn't capture this perfectly but I still had to show it off!
So if you aren't a bright color in the fall or winter time and have stamps why not try to do this! You will still have your bright color but it will be more of a highlighting color now!

I hope you have enjoyed Zoya week!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
