Happy Hunger Games!!

Hey everybody:) Happy Hunger Games!! I love this book series and am so super excited about Catching Fire coming out today in movie theaters. Unfortunately both of my kiddos are sick and I can't go see it until they feel better, but I wanted to celebrate with everyone going to the movies today! So here is my tribute to the new movie Catching Fire!!

 
This mani has a lot of layering, here is a quick overview of what I did... I started with a black and red polish for the base, then I added the matte top coat. After that had time to dry (this was a all day thing) I started to hand paint the fire on... red, orange, yellow and last a touch of white. While that dried I painted the mochingjay, not the best work but but you get the point! Hope you have fun at the movie and love this mani as much as I do.

Peacock Feather

Hey everybody:) Today I have a peacock inspired mani for y'all!
Just a little back round on me, I live in Georgia and out in the country.... I mean like in the middle of no where! So we get a lot of wild life here from deer to wild turkey and yes peacocks. I have never seen the peacock but I sure have heard it, if you don't know what it sounds like do a search and then you will know, they are super loud and the males have a particular call! So yesterday when I was outside in-between the rain showers I heard the peacock and thought what a great idea for a mani:) Did a search for feathers and got to work! This mani did take a while to finish only because I wanted to give some of the polish time to dry.
Here is the peacock inspired mani:)

I really love the look of the dark blue mixed with the teal to give that pop to the mani! Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of this mani :)

13 Days of Halloween.... Day 11 Purple Swirl

Hey everybody:) Today I have another water marble inspired by Halloween for y'all.... just cause I know how much y'all love water marbles:) For this marble I had to get a little creative... I used a silver base and tried to marble with clear but it wasn't working the way I wanted it too, so then I tried a almost opaque polish and it worked perfect. I wanted the silver to shine through, and it did!! Here are the pictures!

I love these colors together for a Halloween mani:) Let me know what y'all think of this mani and if you might try this look for Halloween.

a-England St. George

Hey everybody:) I have another beauty for y'all today.... a-England's St. George♥ I have had my eye on this polish since it came out (well even before that). It was really just calling my name .... Anne buy me, you know you want me! lol So I hopped on over to Llarowe and purchased it:) When I opened the envelope it came in I was just in aw of the beauty of this polish. I know I've said this in the past ... I hate green polish, well I think I'm changing my mind!
St. George is a deep sea green color that has all this sparkly goodness in it.... *heavens part and angles sing* This polish goes on super easy and with two coats you are ready:) I think this would be a mermaid's dream color:)
Okay so here are the pictures:)

So what do y'all think??? I *love* this color:) I think I'm going to try some stamping with this and maybe a silver or gold....now what design should I use??? I'll bring y'all the pictures as soon as I have them :)

A-England Swatch........ Picture Heavy!!!!

Hey everybody :) Today I am swatching 2 A-England's provided to me by Llarowe. OMG!!!! These two are beautiful!! They are both from A-England's Mythicals collection  Here is a picture of the two I received.....Avalon And Galahad.

I'm going to start with Galahad. I saw this color and fell in love ♥ What a great spring color or anytime color. This really reminded me of the cherry trees in bloom. Here is a picture of my toes.

Oh Yeah baby!!!! Okay so this color is a medium teal and depending where I was taking pictures it was dark or light. And I wanted to do a little nail art for y'all .... that's right cherry blossoms:)

                           Super pretty...... I really love this for my toes:) 


Now onto Avalon. Can I just say this is the prettiest purple that I've ever seen! Deep Royal Purple....awesome for those piggies:) When I see a deep purple I think of royalty and nobility. Here is a picture of Avalon.

That's right .......AWESOME!!!!!! What a great purple for those nights out and you want a little color on your toes:) 
Now I again wanted to practice a little nail art on my toes (the more you do it the easier it gets). And I guess I was in a flower mood.... here is the nail art:)
