31 Days of October... Chevron This Thing!

Hey everybody:) Today I wanted to try something that I've seen a few times but have never tried cause I just thought making the chevron over and over again was too much. Well I think I was right... maybe I just had the wrong colors or maybe I need a better brush but I just didn't like the way it turned out:(  Here is Chevron This Thing!

So Yeah!!! Like I said before, I like the idea but this just didn't turn out the way I saw it in my head. Well anyway, leave me a comment and tell me what you think of this mani.

Happy Polishing Everyone!

May the Road Rise to Meet You...

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone..I have a quick post for you today to show off what I'm wearing.

I haven't really done a water marble in awhile but I was very happy with the way this turned out. I did try to add Brooklyn (zoya) to the wm but she didn't show up that's why you can see the white base coat I used for this on my index and middle fingers (and that's why Brooklyn got added to the mix as dots). I am happy with the way it turned out :) and to end today's post one of my favorite Irish Blessings..

May the Road Rise to Meet You,
may the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Owl Nail Art

Hey everybody:) Today I have some super cute nail art .... Owls! I know that everybody and their grandma's have done these, but I wanted to wait until autumn rolled around to try this cute nail art:) I used a ton of Zoya polish for this, I wanted all the owls to be different colors so it really took a little bit of time to complete but I think they were worth it. Here are my pictures:)

I just love these cute owls:) I think one would be great as an accent nail or just do your whole mani owls! Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of these owls, maybe which one is your favorite. Just wanted to share this last picture of how I really wore this mani ♥ .

Happy Polishing Everyone!

Ready for fall with Zoya

Hi all today I have 3 polishes from Zoya's Cashmeres set that I was sent to review. I really liked wearing these 3 and can't wait to try out the rest! Zoya's Cashmere polishes are all cream. So let's take a look.

Flynn is a camel brown nude. Flynn was a tad difficult to work with when I was putting it on...I finally took it off and and rolled the bottle in between my hands so it wouldn't be streaky (which is how it was applying). This is two coats of Flynn. I don't tend to go near nudes because I'm so pale and they tend to make me look yellow but I really liked Flynn when I wore it. Here it is.

Now I stamped Flynn when I was wearing it with LLC-A in KleanColor Metallic Black. I then Matted it and I had an instant fall manicure that I didn't want to take it off! Oh I really liked how this turned out.

Hunter is a dark sea green. I saw Hunter more of a deep forest green. I really liked it and had no problems with application of it. This is two coats of Hunter and I'd be careful as I saw a little staining where my base coat didn't go all the way to my cuticles. I really love green's like Hunter it's one of my fall/winter colors I wear (clothes). I can't wait to wear Hunter again while it's cold out! Here is Hunter.

Here I stamped Hunter with LLC-B in Color Clubs Kismet. I thought trees would be great and in halo I couldn't help but like this.

Livingston is an autumn red. This is two coats of Livingston. I wore this yesterday and got a few compliments on how pretty it was and how it looked great on me. Now red is on of those colors that usually sit in my collection because when I see it as very bright attention getting color so much it distracts me when I wear it. I really do like Livingston and can see myself wearing this again and again no matter the time of year.

So far Zoya has hit it out of the park with these three! I know I said it but I really can't wait to try the other 3 of this collection. I might even try an Autumn water marble with this set. What do you guys think do you have a favorite so far? I think I'm favoring how I wore Flynn (matted).

You can buy Zoya here, and find them on Facebook, Twitter
