Mr. Grey will see you now!

Hey everybody:) Today I have a post inspired by the up coming movie Fifty Shades of Grey. I really enjoyed these books and I'm hoping the movie is as good as they are making the hype up to be. For this mani I wanted something simple, like how this love between Christian and Anastasia starts off with a simple meeting.
I used Color Club Mamba and Colors by Llarowe  Smokin' in the Boys Room for this mani. Here is my Mr. Grey will see you now!

Now if you don't get this mani.... then you haven't read the books. I like the simplicity of this mani, it really says get to the room and I'll be back with only the tie!!!  Hot Damn!

31 Days of October... Poison Apples!

Hey everybody:) Today I have a really cute mani inspired by the poison apple in Snow White. Nobody does wicked better than the Evil Queen in Snow White and this poison apple is the embodiment of all her evil! With Halloween right around the corner and everybody looking for nails to match there wicked costumes, this hits the top of the list!
I started off with Color Club Mamba halfway down the tips of my nails and then China Glaze White on White at the cuticle line and down to make the poison on the apple. Here is my version of Poison Apples and a shot of the poison apple from the movie.

31 Days of October... Flame On!

Hey everybody:) Today I have a drag Flame marble to share with y'all. I was sitting around the other day thinking of what reminds me of October, well burning leaves and bonfires popped in my head... so why not do a flame mani:) For this mani I started off with Zoya Storm, quickly followed by Color Club Mamba and then "drag" with a toothpick, and then China Glaze Stoked to be Soaked "drag" and finally a dot of Zoya Darcy and "drag" again. All colors were done in a quick session as to be able to do the drag marble. Here is my Flame On mani.

                                                                                                                                                                   I LOVE the way this turned out! FYI this mani will have to dry for a great deal of time so don't try unless you have the time! Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of this mani:)

Not so great!

Hey everybody:) Today I wanted to share some of the 4th nail art failures. Now sometimes I do things and they sound really great in my head and on paper, but when I finish the nail art it just looks like crap:( But I wanted to show you a few of the "not quite up to par" nail art from this week.

Here we go! First up is a water marble that really pissed me of.... as you can see the blue on the two middle fingers smeared and I had to do a little fill in work, boo! And I thought this one looked to much like the other water marble from Monday. Failure #1.

Next I did a star and stripes mani. Well the star didn't come out great and I really couldn't get passed that. So this is Failure #2.

This next mani was a really good idea in my head. I wanted to do half red and the other half blue and put stars in the middle.... well the stars from the polish I was going to use were to old and falling apart. And the white line just didn't do it for me:( Failure #3.

This next mani wasn't too bad. I did free hand fireworks. I really wanted more glitz, every time I went to make a post for this mani I just couldn't bring myself to put it up. So this mani is Failure #4.

Easy Water Marble

Hey everybody:) I wanted to start this Independence week off with a easy water marble that just screams Happy Birthday America!

First I started off with China Glaze Frostbite in a half moon shape on the side of my nail. And then the rest of my nail I painted with Color Club Mamba. After that was dry I used China Glaze White on White and Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat to water marble. I added some dots and BAM... Red, White and Blue water marble heaven!  Here are my pictures!

Rose Nail Art

Hey everybody! Yes we are back, and ready to dive into summer 2013 with y'all! It was so crazy around my house the end of May that I just need some time to get everything back on track and take a deep breath. Okay now that I'm feeling better and everything is okay its time to get back to the polish!
Today I have for y'all a super cute and way easy mani. I started off with green tips using Color Club Wild Cactus. Then I used  Color Club Mamba and Flamingo to create my rose. Here is the mani :)

I hope you love this as much as I do! I really think its a super easy way of dressing up a mani that isn't the same old, same old!
