*This is my opinion (as is everything I post usually is)* So most of you know or have seen the picture about the CEO of J Crew Jenna Lyons painting her young son's nails hot pink!
ABC did a story on it if you need to catch up. Everyone is up in arms about this boy having his nails painted and Jenna Lyons saying "Lucky for me I ended up with a boy whose favorite color is pink"...We all had/have our favorite colors I personally don't see a darn thing wrong with her painting HER son's nails pink! I have actually painting my nephew's nails with glow in the dark and matte polish before because he loves to see them glow! I personally find nothing wrong with polish for boys or Men! I don't want people telling me what I can wear just because I'm a GIRL! It's just nail polish people it will come off *rant over* so in support we have my nails painted with China Glaze Sugar High and Anne is wearing China Glaze

I totally forgot about the pink thing today! LoL. I had my son pick out my color this morning before he went to school. I let him pick it most of the time. Nothing wrong with any of this in my opinion either.

ReplyDeleteThis is so ridiculous. My 2yo son loves having his nails done, because he wants to do what I'm doing. He always picks the color himself...and his favorite is the brightest pink I own!
ReplyDeleteMy son is crashing his hot wheels cars into each other on the floor. Oh wait, now he's playing with his army figurines. All the while with purple toenails. IS he "gender confused"? What a ridiculous thing to say. WHO CARES. When I was a girl, I didn't give Barbie dolls a second look. I used to play with GI Joe's and make mud pies - I grew up to be a HETEROSEXUAL female .. and now, I'm VERY girly and LOVE nail polish. Wait .. Am *I* "gender confused"?? *rolls eyes* I hope that the "doctor" that ragged on this ad doesn't have children - it doesn't surprise me that he works for Fox News.
