Zoya's Flair Collection... Swatch and Review

Hey everybody:) Today I have the other half of the Zoya Fall Collection... Flair, they sent me this set for my review. The Flair collection is a jeweled tone metallic polish collection. These polishes give your Fall nails that little bit of pop we are all looking for.

Aggie is described by Zoya as: a gold holo flip liquid metal with bronze micro glitter. Ok so to me this looks like a duochrome polish, I don't get any of the "holo" that they are describing. Very pretty on does that duochrome thing in the sun and shade.

Cinnamon is a classic bronze metal polish. This polish to me looks like an old penny. I think that giving your nails a little pop with Cinnamon will spice up your day:)

Tris is a blackened brushed nickel color. I love this color and have been seeing tons of new Fall clothes with this color! Looks like a hip Fall color that you can wear day or night.

Ember is a fiery red metallic color polish. I love this hot red for the Fall. This is like that red lip stick that you can't live without!

Estelle is a metallic blue polish. This polish is brighter outside than I expected, but still dark enough to be a Fall polish. Very Blue... if you have any collection of polish you know what I mean by Very Blue, lol.

Giada is a metallic purple polish that has a hint of fuchsia. This is a favorite polish out of the bunch and that saying a lot with all the beautiful polish in this collection. This purple rocks my socks!!! When I'm outside I see the hint of fuchsia and inside its a deep purple, LOVE!

Overall the Flair collection is a hit, I love all the colors and can't wait until the weather gets cooler so I can rock some of these babies!

Zoya's Fall Collection Focus ... Swatch and Review

Hey everybody:) Today I have Zoya's Focus collection to share with y'all, they sent them for my review. The focus collection are made up of 6 bold colors that complement any fall outfit. I love cream polish there are so many things that you can do with them, *hint, hint* I'll have a water marble for y'all in another post!

Charli is a taupe cream polish that has a hint of green in it. Two coat coverage. I liked this color for a basic everyday color, something you could wear to the office. Not a bad color for a start into Fall:)

Desiree is a classic brown cream polish. Needs two coats to cover. This polish reminds me of a chocolate bar, yum! A great cool color that will go perfect with all of those Fall boots.

Hannah is a classic red cream polish. Two coats are needed for full coverage, please use a base coat to prevent staining. I liked this color but on me it looked like it turned red with a slight orange tint, even though it didn't show that way in the picture.

Sia is a true royal blue cream polish. Two coat will give you full coverage. This is a pretty fall blue, not too bright as too appear spring but not too dark as to look like a winter polish... just right:)

Lidia is a rich eggplant cream color polish. Two coats are needed for full coverage. This purple is so pretty, I love purple in the Fall.

Janel is a deep red cream polish, deeper than Hannah. Two coats are needed for full coverage. Now I like this red a little better for my skin tone, it really was very pretty on and didn't change into orange. Janel is a great addition to my reds, perfect for Fall.

Overall I liked the Focus collection, a great start to Fall. All the colors go great with the new Fall clothes that are out, I can't wait to put on my boots... guess I have to wait on that Fall weather!! Zoya did a great job with this collection!

Wild at heart!

Hi all this is what I'm wearing today. A nice neon gradient. I couldn't decide if I wanted just the blues, green and yellow or I wanted the oranges, yellow and green. So I compromised and did my left hand with an accent nail of the orange, light orange, yellow and green.. and on my right I used the accent with blue green and yellow.

I loved them equally and I couldn't decide which I wanted to wear more so I did both.

The colors I used are Dj Blue My Mind, UV Meant to Be, Treble Maker and Daisy Know My Name.
Red-y to Rave, Home Sweet House Music, Daisy Know My Name and Treble Maker.
I used Born Pretty plate BP-17 with a white polish to stamp.

Have a nice day everyone and thank you for stopping by our blog!

Neon Flowers!

Hi all! I purchased China Glaze Point Me to The Party a while back (I actually got the whole collection because I loved them all). I needed Point me to the Party because it was almost a knock off of an Indy polish I've been wanting but never bought. So today I finally wore it!!! No disappointment at all. I decided I needed an accent nail so I decided to stamp with Salon Perfect's Oh Snap!, Copacabana Girl, Mer-Made of Money and Purple Pop! They worked amazingly and I was a little surprised.

The second picture is in the shade so you can see how much the Salon Perfect's polishes POP!
Thanks for taking the time to check out our blog! Have a great day!!

A little this a little that!

Hi all so today's post I started out with a gradient of Purple Pop and Mer-Made of Money from Salon Perfect. It didn't blend the way I wanted so I did a bit of experimenting with stamping to see if these would stamp. They did perfectly!!! I used BM 319 stamping plate -the little lines...going over the manicure many times with each color (purple pop and mer-made of money) to get this look then I stamped a heart on using Salon Perfect Oh Snap! and an Essance plate I bought at Ulta (no number on the plate).

In real life the heart (oh snap!) is so much brighter and it surprised me how bright it came out! I think I need to keep these in mind when I need a bit of neon stamping!
Thanks for check out our blog. Have a lovely day!

Let Freedom Ring!

A quick Fourth of July mani for you today. I started off with Salon Perfect's Indigo-go as my base then I used on my pinkie and index fingers LLC-A plate stamped with Konad white. On my ring and middle finger I decided to do a gradient of Salsa Dance, Sugar Cube and Indigo-go all from Salon Perfect!

I hope you have a great day and thank you for stopping by our blog.

Salon Perfect brings the Glitter for the Fourth of July!

Hi all I'm back with Salon Perfect glitters that are perfect for the 4th of July (that were sent to me for review). I have six glitters all ranging in easy to apply and hard to get out of the bottle. First off NONE of these are shown with a top coat. I used Indigo-Go (index), Salsa Dance (middle), Sugar Cube (ring), and Titanium (pinkie) from my previous post on Monday. Let's get started!

Boom Boom Boom is a micro glitter in red, white and blue. The blue glitter isn't navy so it shows up really nicely on Indigo-Go. The other colors like the red and white glitter seem to blend into and they are completely lost on the red and white polish.

Let Freedom Bling is a strips of glitter (or hairy glitter) in silver, white, red and blue. I think this is best showed over white. It's not bad for a hairy glitter to me. Not bad application I blotted it on when I applied it and moved it around a bit.

Liberty Bubbles are circle glitter in different sizes and a nice lighter blue that pops with the white and red. I did have trouble getting this one out of the bottle so I tried sponging it on with little to no change in application. I think when I use this again I'll 1. store it upside down and 2. try to fish out pieces of glitter.

Pa-Tri-Otic is a triangle glitter in red, white and light blue. I really don't care for this except on the index finger where Indigo-go make all the colors just stand out. Application wasn't bad I blotted what I fished out trying not to get to much of the clear coat on the brush so I didn't have a super long drying time.

Rockets Red Glare is by far my favorite of red and blue glitter. Looking best on Sugar Cube to me. It applied so easily. I just arranged a few of the glitters around on my cuticle area and tip of my nail.

Speck-Tacular is a small red, white and light blue glitter. I enjoyed this one over Indigo-go the most! Easy application and again I just moved a few of the glitters around.

Some hit's some misses. All in all you have a great variety to pick from for your Fourth of July mani!
You can find these colors at your local Walmart right now. You can find Salon Perfect's web page hereFacebookPinterestInstagram.

Celebrate the 4th with Salon Perfect!

Hi all today I have for you four polishes that Salon Perfect sent me for review. These are perfect for the Fourth of July! I'll have the top coats up later this week so keep an eye out for those. So for now let's get started on these! I'm showing all of these with Crystal Clear top coat on. Crystal Clear dries in three to five minutes and is quickly becoming one of my favorite top coats!

Indigo-go is a beautiful Navy Blue. This is two coats of Indigo-go. I really like Indigo-go, a perfect blue for the fourth of July.

Salsa Dance is a tomato red. This is two coats of Salsa Dance. I liked Salsa Dance until I had to take it off I had a bit of staining around my cuticle area and my finger. A beautiful color though!

Sugar Cube is a white. Sugar Cube went on in two coats. Sugar Cube is a blanket of snow to me. A blank canvas ready to be painted on.

Titanium is a frosty silver. This is three coats of Titanium. I loved the look of Titanium in the bottle and wanted to love it. I like silver...just not a frosty silver that takes three coats. This was a bit watery and just didn't make me happy when I applied it.

You can find these colors at your local Walmart right now. You can find Salon Perfect's web page here, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram.
These are perfect colors to start your Fourth of July mani's with! I hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a great day.

Sharpies on my nails.

Hi all today I tried out something new to me. I decided to try out coloring on my nails with a Sharpie then going over that lightly with a bit of alcohol. I wasn't completely sold on how it looked so I thought stamping over it would help a bit. Well the stamp is flowers and that's what I tried to make with the sharpie's so I call this an experiment. I might try it again. For now here is an experiment in trying something out side the box for me.

I do need to say that you have to be very careful with the amount of alcohol you put on your brush because it runs and stains...not a pretty sight and not fun or easy to clean up.

Thanks for checking out our blog. Have a wonderful day!
