Prism

Hello Ladies today I have for you Prism from China Glaze's Prismatic Chroma Glitter Collection. Prism is a purple that has a shift to pink with pink, blue, green, orange and gold glitter in it.  Prism just like Full Spectrum went on in two coats. I'm loving these glitters, they are so easy to work with! Here are the pictures^_^.

I really love purple and this is polish is no different! Shines in the sun and the "twinkles" you get from the light bouncing off the glitter is amazing!

Full Spectrum of color!

HEY everyone! Today I have for you an Full Spectrum from China Glaze Prismatic Collection! Full Spectrum is a baby pink that that has a shift of bright pink that reminds me of China Glaze Rainbow and the GLITTER  silver, gold, blue, pink and green! I was so surprised by this I this I thought it would be a fight to not have a gloppy mess! Let me tell you this is 2 coats of Full Spectrum and one thick coat of Seche Vite to smooth out the bumps. The bumps aren't much in my mind compared to other glitter I have used. This glitter went on smooth and dried quick! Let's go to the pictures!

What do you think? Are you ready for some glitter packed nail polish that makes your nails stand out!

Bad Ass Water Marble #2 ***Picture Heavy***

Hey everybody:) Today I have another Bad Ass Water Marble for y'all (cause I know y'all love them so much).  So the other day Pat came over for a visit and was trying to get me to try out stamping...by the way I hate doing stamping! I finally got tired of trying everything and said "I want to water marble!!!!"  I showed her some pictures of what I wanted to do, and we put our heads together to figure out how to make it happen. First I tried out every polish I could think of to do what I wanted to do, and finally settled on Zoya polishes:) I started with a base of Zoya Dove and then moved on to water marbling. I used Zoya Ali, Pippa, Dove(again), and Robyn... this is also the order I used them to make my bulls eye. Alright here are my pictures:)

And since I'm such an awesome sister I even did Pat's nails!!! Here are the pictures of what I did on her nails:)

I know y'all can see all kinds of colors I didn't mention in this water marble like green and purple, but the colors I used just bled together. I have to say even my hubby made a comment about how awesome my nails looked:)
So what do y'all think??? Love them or too much work????

Happy Water Marbling Everyone:)
Love,
~Anne~

Happy Hunger Games Everyone!

Hello everyone and Happy Hunger Games! I am so super excited about this movie its scary:) Okay so if you don't know by now The Hunger Games is a 3 book series by Suzanne Collins that was made into a movie(well the first one so far). This mani was created from the love I have for the books and the excitement I have for the movie.
I first started off by panting my nails with a grey base... I used Spoiled Polish Black Mamba, two good coats. The next thing I had to do was paint flames....READ THE BOOK, or now go watch the movie :) I used Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar, OPI Color So Hot it Berns and Pros & Bronze, Piggy Polish Sunshine Highway, and a touch of Zoya Snow White. So I know that sounds like a lot but remember you are only using a drop of polish:) The next thing that I painted was a bow and arrow... this was pretty straight forward and easy, I used SinFul Colors Nail Art  in Flower Girl. Then I wanted to used the district number some how and just ended up painting it on my pinkie with Wet n Wild Black Cream. Okay for the main artwork ..... the MockingJay pin:) This was the hardest nail to paint, I used Sinful Colors Flower Girl and OPI Pros & Bronze.... and took my time to get the pin just the way I wanted it:)

I hope you enjoy my "Tribute" to The Hunger Games!

I have to say I think my nail art is improving.... this only took me all afternoon to do, lol:) So did any of y'all read the book and if you did what was your favorite part??? I really loved the whole book, and I can't wait to see the movie and how they will bring the book to life:)
I leave you with a quote from the book......
“Only I keep wishing I could think of a way to…to show the Capitol they don’t own me. That I’m more than just a piece in their Games” -Peeta Mellark”

Happy Hunger Games Everybody!

Brisk Orange really does have a glowey look to it!

May you have the Luck of the Irish!!!

Happy day before St. Patrick's Day:) I thought I'd do a short post for St. Patrick's day....with green's growing on me and everything I thought I would share:) First off I really have no plans but maybe a drink or two with my hubby:) With that thought in mind be safe and don't drink and drink!!! Okay on with the green!!!
I went to Sally's a few weeks ago and found some awesome deals... one deal was Orly Here Comes Trouble for $1.99....I know right $1.99!!!!! And this had me thinking of St. Patrick's Day. So I decided to do a green french mani:) I started off with Orly Here Comes Trouble and then used Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat. I had to add a little bit of gold in this mani, I used SinFul Colors Nail Art in Flower Girl and then really wanted some art work. So I decided to paint a shamrock with China Glaze Kiwi Cool-Ada:) Here are my pictures:)

So what are y'all doing for St. Patrick's Day??? I'm leaving you with a Old Irish blessing.....

An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Happy Polishing everyone!
Love,
~Anne~
