Top coat eater!

It's a man eater MAN eater! wait no just a top coat eater but it's so pretty! All three of these pictures have 2 (one thick one quick dry) top coats! Yes that is right two different brands of top coat went over this frosty pink holo and it ate it like there is no tomorrow! Now if you go looking for this Sally Girl polish since I don't have a name but I have a number ABOVE the bar code 812112. This was 3 coats of Man Eater! (ha it has a name!) and like I said before 2 coats of top coat...now Man Eater! went on just fine and smooth so the only complaint would have to be the top coat eating. Here are the pictures!

Such a great color I have worn it 2 since picking it up at Sally's....
Now on to the pimping (hehe)
KayJay over at Refined and Polished has silver shatter on in her latest post and it looks amazing, but I am so staring at the Wet N' Wild Caribbean Frost post!!!! Do you Ladies see how beautiful that color is! Amazing! *added to secret wish list!*
Harri over at Trailerhood Chic latest post is all about Zoya Reva that looks stunning on her! Don't forget to check out her Melmer post on where she is going to be storing her polishes I'm so jealous but I'll be looking for one of those soon!

That was fun Ladies thanks for letting me do it! <3 Until next time lovely ladies tell me whatcha got whatcha got on your nails??????? lol ^_^

Minnie Mouse

So I have been having a rough couple of weeks and haven't felt like doing anything. I finally got off my ass and decided to do my nails:)  This is my Minnie Mouse look, I have Red polish on my toe nails and I did a black tip mani with  polka dots for my finger nails. This is one of my favorite looks for the summer, you can do this with any color combo. Just remember to take your time and have a good polish remover handy:) So here is a picture of my toes first, I read some place that guys love the color red on toes:)

OPI color so hot it berns!

As you can tell I just did a regular mani on my toes... remember boys love red♥
Sorry the picture isn't so good, I promise to do better next time:)

And here is a picture of my nails... Love this look it goes with everything and everybody that sees it wants to know where you got your nails done:) Super easy to do, use your dots and cut them in half so you can get your french look on with little or no clean up. Then use a dotter to do the dots and top coat and your done. Super easy and almost no time to do!

Wet n' wild black Pearl and Kiss white

So ladies tell me what you think and if maybe you have tried this???? I think I'm going to have to do my toes with the French tip with dots... Now only if I could decide on colors, lol:)

Until next time, Happy polishing!!!
Anne

Top this!

Hi Ladies today I wanted to show you 4 different polishes that got brought up last week (I think) in the fb group Polish-aholics Anonymous! How these compare so I have for you (from index to pinkie) Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure, China Glaze Wireless Holographic Top Coat, Sinful Colors Green Ocean and China Glaze Fairy Dust. (All pictures show 2 coats of each with NO topcoat, over Wet N' Wild black 1 coat) Before we go to far I'm super sorry for the dry skin I was using pure acetone the day of swatching v_v! SH HT (index) shows red to orange to green like a mini rainbow in flakies.
CG WHTC (middle/ free bird) is super awesome and it looks like I just have a black holo!
SC GO (ring) shows blue on the finger...I have tried this over a green and it still flashes BLUE! I love it ^_^ I won this from Amber at Rainbows & Sparkles last giveaway!
CG FD (pinkie) is a holographic glitter that I love using as a top coat over anything from a french tip, to a fade to pull it together...maybe that is why I have a back up bottle of this I love it so much I don't want to run out lol!

So I LOVE these top coats each for different reasons!

HT-rainbow flakies!

WHTC-puts a nice finish to my holo's without dulling them!

GO- I love blue and it's a flakie!

FD- makes a dull mani into sparkle fest!

Now for the close ups my skin is super dry in these but it shows the colors so well I couldn't leave it out *_* sorry!

Hidden TreasureGreen Ocean

Wireless Holographic Top CoatFairy Dust Last are a few pictures I took inside that I thought I would throw in for free (blurry so you can see the awesomesauce of these polishes (lol)!

So here they are...I also wanted to give you Ladies a chance to leave your blogs address down in the comments today (for this post only please) I enjoy looking and reading nail blogs so much that I will probably take your list and next Post I (me not Anne) put up a list of blogs there if you want (just let me know if it is ok if I share or I wont share it)!

So do any of you ladies own any of these toppers? What do you think of them? Enjoy the rest of this week ladies!

Bring on the Funk!

Good Morning Ladies I know I haven't posted in a week (well I did take pictures) but I have just been in a mini funk with polish and this post will show it! Some times I just need to wear black I love the look (no matter my mood). So when I first saw this on some blogs I knew I needed it but it's a matte polish and we all know how matte polish wears...chips quickly right? So when Amber suggested using a top coat between layers of polish..I had to try it. I did base coat, polish, polish, top coat, polish and it stayed for 2 freaking days and then I put a top coat over it and then the next day Konaded it! Ok yea this mani lasted for 4 freaking days which is saying something! (thanks so much Amber for letting us know of the matte trick). This is Zoya's Dovima Matte which is simply BEAUTIFUL it has a wonderful shimmer in it that you can see in the sunny pictures! Here are the Matte Pictures!

Here I added a top coat you really can see the shimmer here.

On the forth day there was Konading! I used ip M57 with Sally Hansen Chrome Nail Makeup in Aqua Chrome (this is an old polish that I'm pretty sure is very hard to find).

I wasn't completely sure that I would like this manicure with the konading because I have this little thing that I don't usually put blue and black together...but I love the look of Dovima all glossed up with a bit of wham from the konad! I'll be editing more pictures this weekend that I have taken since my funk ...also Ladies if you check out the tabs we have added some info on Konading...this is just a few things that I do/use when I konad...I'm also hoping to make a quick tutorial soon of the technique I use to make the fade look what do you Ladies think would you want to see something like that??

So Ladies let me know what do you do to your nails when you are in a funk?

I'll go first I usually wear darker colors or let my nails go naked (which for the past 3 days they haven't had anything on them v_v)! Ok until next time Ladies enjoy your DAY! ^_^

I can't wait until the next contest, I think that we will have to go bigger!

MEGAN!

Happy Birthday to you Girl! I really hope you have a wonderful day!

So Megan at Painting Rainbows birthday is today (go say hi and wish her a happy birthday!) and to wish her a great birthday I put this manicure together I started off with China Glaze Lazer Lime I then stamped it with bm plate 14 with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Sequin Scandal (that I won from Getcha Nails Did). I topped the cupcake with a glitter I had in my stash of art stuff...then topped it with a larger piece of glitter! Then I thought this is a party mani I need confetti right? so the bigger pieces on the side are supposed to be confetti ...if that wasn't enough I then added Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Hidden Treasure....ok here are the pictures!

So that's what I came up with I know it seems a little much to have on nails but when you are inside you don't see the holo...and outside the holo outshines hidden treasure. Ok so Megan I hope you like it and have a wonderful birthday! ^_^

Cracked up for my Birthday!!!

Hey Ladies, Anne here from SSP. Sorry its been so long  since I've done a post. I had a wonderful Birthday (thanks for the birthday wishes). For my birthday I really wanted to get out of my comfort box (at least for me) and try some crackle on for size. Pat has done this before and liked it but I wasn't sold on the look. So I set out to try something new.... And I loved  it.  I started off with a base coat , then it was Kleancolor in Wild Rose... let this dry for a while, serious folks let it dry!!! China Glaze Crackle in Cracked Concrete on top of that, I love gray:) I really didn't realize how long this polish look takes to do, but its worth it. So here are the pictures.....

With no top coat!

The final look!
This polish stayed on for about 5 days with no chipping, AWESOME!!!! Everybody what do you think? I also want to know if you own any crackle polish that you would recommend us trying????
