Do a fade out for quick a Valentines Day Manicure!

So not an exact fade but I like it! I started off with 1 coat China Glaze Good Witch?

I then used a sponge and sponged 3 more pinks (Sugar High, Strawberry fields, Heli-Yum) in a random way on each nail...I added a top coat of Fairy Dust. Then started my clean up, then stamped it with bundle monster plate bm06 and added a rhinestone to my middle finger with some nail art glue. I love this type of manicure and usually do it during the summer because it's quick and easy to do!
So until next time enjoy polishing!

Last Valentine's Day Post ♥

Okay everyone this is the last Valentine's Day post. Awhile ago I saw these really cute nails on  Black Nail Polish and Lip Gloss ( just one of the many blogs I follow). So this gave me a really great idea for Valentine's Day.
Here it is the ANTI- Valentine's Day Manicure!

This is so super cute, and really easy. For all my girls with a blue Valentine's Day in mind.

So what I used on this manicure was Crayon Splash in Chat Room, Kleancolor in Halo Blue, and Soeasy Stripe Rite in white, also the nailcare stickers.

Hope you folks like this look I know I sure did:)
Love,

Let us know what you did for your manicure on Valentine's day!

Water Marble!

I have been reading My Simple Little Pleasures for awhile thinking that I would try water marbling...I did give it a shot before with my niece's hand but it just didn't work...this weekend I had some free time and after watching MSLP videos the night before I got a bug...the colors I used Zoya Kelly as a base coat (2 coats) that I was testing to see if I wanted to wear it...I picked out a few colors that I thought might work

Klean Color-Pastel Purple
NYC-135A Love Me Red Cream
China Glaze-Rainbow
                    Temptation Carnation
OPI-DS Original
Sally Hansen-Purple Potion
                     Emerald City
I think I also had a few other pinks in this mix (thumb and index) but I didn't write those down.

Now I started with filtered water from my fridge and let it sit while I got set up. I put out my bowl, nail polish (unscrewed tops) , paper towels, and a bamboo skewer. I tested my water with my finger to see if it was warm enough...it wasn't I then put it in the microwave 10 seconds testing back on for 10 seconds. I started building my bulls eye and came out with this..

                                         v_v FAIL!

It is to thick and bubbles!  So I took out the color I thought that was messing with MY water marble WIN! By the end (ring and pinkie fingers) I was using only 3 or 4 of my original colors. My ring finger is what I was trying to achieve a nice little flower like design.

I just swirled the polish for my index finger, and tried to make a design for my free bird / middle finger and with my pinkie I dragged the points and then swirled the colors a bit and viola I was done..
My favorite finger ^ soooo Pretty! that color next to Emerald City is Rainbow or Temptation Carnation...with Purple Potion also in the mix...

Now I will be trying this again with my easily found also nail polish my NYC, and Sally Hansen worked great so those will be in the bunch.  I love how the green shows up just beautifully it just POPS for me. Now I don't want to say it was easy job doing this I think with practice I will get better and since I like it so much I'm going to keep at it because I want to be able to wear a marble manicure!

Until next time have fun polishing!

Early Valentine's Day

So I know its not Valentine's Day yet, but I have been thinking of what I want my nails to look like on this lovely holiday♥
Here is the first choice    Sweet Heart

So what I did here is take a simple French manicure and put a twist on it ♥ ( those are hearts, sorry the pic is not too good)

First step pink tips. I used a color coding dots cut in half to help with the "just right tip". For the most part it worked out just fine:)

A little touch up but, I have to say one of the easiest ways to do this. Just add hearts and top coat and your all set.

These are the colors     N.Y.C. color 130A    O.P.I  Natural Base coat   Kleancolor  Twinkly Love

Just another tasty treat from the girls at,

Sassy Day Three!

Hello again, I wanted to show you day 3 of my manicure.  Again this is a base coat, 4 layers or coats of Zoya Roxy and a top coat!

Until next time!

A little bit Sassy!

Today I'm wearing Zoya's Roxy.  Zoya describes Roxy as "A sheer red-toned purple base loaded with bright purple glitter."  It took me 4 coats to get the glitter coverage and color I have when looking at the bottle.  I started with my base coat (letting that dry for 1-2 minutes before starting with my color. I have found it helps my color stick around better).  After putting on Roxy about 3 to 4 thin coats (and letting them dry for about 3 to 5 minutes between each coat of polish) I put on my top coat and my manicure was done!  Here are the pictures!
                                          3 coats no top coat
                                          4 coats no top coat
                                          4 coats with top coat!
                                          Bottle love!

Until next time you girls have fun polishing!

Today was a rainy, wonderful and busy day... in tribute to this day (our first blog day) I did my nails.
This is Wet n Wild in black. I used only one coat and guess what... thats all I needed. Awesome polish!
The next coat was NYX #162 . Again I only used one coat, gives that extra something to the black. ♥
